The day is over and I close up. I walk home down the alley to my apartment. It’s getting slicker as I walk farther down. I always make sure no one is in the alley before I take off my wig. As I am taking off my wig I each for the door then, SLIP-BAM! I slip on the stupid ice. My butt hits the hard ground and I hit my head a little too. My wig goes flying, and then I hear foot steps, someone yelling at me and running towards me.

I am dizzy and confused. All I can remember at the moment was me lying on my back, with a face I couldn’t figure out who was hovering over me. Piper’s face was now overtop of mine. She was saying words. The next thing I remember was someone picking me up and carrying me up the stairs to my building. It wasn’t Piper carrying me up. She is weaker than a baby. So it was probably a neighbor.

It was a guy defiantly. He sets me down on the couch and he leaves. I start to come to it and I rub my head and I notice my wig is missing. I almost yell for Piper but the door rings. I stand up to answer it. I slowly walk to the door. I need to go back downstairs to get my wig too.

I open up the door and right in front of me was Harry from Nobody’s Business. He was holding my pink bubblegum wig in his hand with a super confused look on his face. I snatch the wig out of his hand and slam the door in his face. I didn’t even have time to react. I run to the mirror. Piper has wiped off all of my makeup and taken out all my piercings and my bright blonde curly hair was showing. I was still wearing my white dress and pink tights. I think I’m having a heart attack. Not a mini heart attack a full on heart attack!

The doorbell rings again and I walk to the door. I look through the peep hole this time, there is Harry. Adorable blue-eyed, Harry. I open up the door and grab his jacket by the collar and pull him in my apartment. I shut the door really fast.

“Ok so you know my secret. I’m not that crazy girl that sells t-shirts in front of the Eiffel tower. Please don’t tell.” I beg.

“What happened to your accent?” His eyes are really big.

“Fake. So is my pink hair and tattoos which you already figured out.” I spit out really fast.

“Who are you?” He pauses.

“Why don’t I answer that another time? Just will you please promise to not tell anyone about my secret to anyone about who I am? That I’m fake.” I put my hands together and beg some more.

“Are you undercover or something?” He takes the wig from me and looks at it.

“Yes and no. I’m an acting student. This is a project for school.” I snatch the wig back.

“Hey Lucy we gotta go-well hello there.” Piper says winking at Harry.

“This is my roommate Piper. I’m sorry you have to leave we have to be somewhere else. Please just when you see me at my cart. Act like you don’t know me. Because you really don’t know me. I appreciate it.” I rush out. I walk him out of my house. SLAM!

“Piper, you didn’t have to slam the door in his face.” I look at her putting her shoes on.

“No guys I said. And he is really cute.” She giggles. Does she expect me to take her seriously? “Do you think he is still standing outside of the door?”
