A Death in the Family.

“The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” – J.K. Rowling.

“Are they bothering you?” Harry comes and sits next to me.

“No we were just getting to know each other. So why are we going to London?” I say to Harry placing my hand in his.

“We are shooting a music video and doing some press.” Eddie says.

“Is she playing the girl?” Michael whispers to Eddie.

“What girl?” I say.

“She asks a lot of questions.” Dakota huffs out and rolls his eyes.

“I’ve heard.” I roll my eyes.

“I was supposed to tell you that. The song is about this guy, will be played by me is trying to find you. We go on a chase in London then he finds you.” Harry smiles mischievously.

“Are you any good?” Eddie leans forward asking me. I guess he gets to close to me because Harry pushes him backwards and pulls me to him. Oh someone’s protective.

“Good at what?” I lay my head on his shoulder.

“Acting.” Eddie says.

“I guess that’s what you will have to find out.” I say.

“She’s great.” Harry beams.

“How do you know?” I say and turn to him.

“Piper emailed me a video of a production of you. A Shakespeare piece and a comedy piece.” Harry smiles.

“What?! When did she do this?” I panic.

“A month ago.” He says to me, and then turns to the band, “She is killer guys. She should be on Saturday Night Live, she has raw talent.”

“I’m not that good. I can’t believe she did that.” I whisper to myself.

“Don’t be upset. You were unbelievable.” Harry says kissing my cheek.

“Do you have the video still?” Michael says.

“Yeah it’s on my laptop.” Harry says pointing to his bag.

“Can we see it?” Eddie asks.

“No-no lets not.” I say.

“We have some more time.” He pulls out his laptop.

“Oh no.” I just shrink in my chair and put my hands over my eyes.

They laugh at the funny stuff.

“Did you write theses?” Dakota ask pointing to the laptop.

“I wrote the dramatic play and the comedic play.” I say removing my hands from my eyes.

The dramatic play is about a girl who has just found out she has aids. She deals with people turning on her, even her own parents, because they think she is contagious to them. She dies at the end, but you she her struggle as people turn their backs on her she overcomes it. The comedy piece I mainly improvised. The writer wrote horrible stuff for my parts so opening night I improvised. I didn’t have the lead but I stole the show.

“Wow. You are really good.” Eddie leans back in his chair.

“You have a gift.” Michael smiles along with Eddie.

“You are hilarious, and you wrote the material yourself?” Dakota questions me.

“Yes. All of it.” I say. “On another topic now. What is London like to you?”
