Malik

I push Mya away and head for the door.

"Malik wait! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that."

"Mya, I'm getting married soon. I'm sorry if I made you think that we had a chance of getting back together, but I'm not in love with you anymore. You are still the gorgeous Mya I knew before, but I don't have time to tell you that you are beautiful anymore. I have devoted my time and love to someone else. From now on, I would just like to see Malia and be with her."

She nods her head and looks down at her feet. I walk out of her house and close the door. I can't believe that she kissed me. I feel disgusted. I let it happen. I should have told her from the beginning that there would be no feelings between us. I shake my head and get in my car. I pull out of the driveway and head to the office. I really need to get some work done. I look at my phone and see six missed calls. All of the calls were from Chance, Ryan, and Jason. Another call is coming in. It's Jason.

"Hello?"

All I hear is screaming and yelling in the background.

"Hello?!" I yell.

"Hey, Malik! It's Jason!" He yells.

"Hey, Jay! What's up?!"

"Man you need to get down here! Naomi's going crazy!"

"Why?!"

"Where is he?! I'm gonna kill him! He thinks he can play me! I don't think so, motherfucker!" Naomi yells. Then I hear a loud crash. I hear Chance and what I assume are Jason and Ryan yelling.

I hang up and rush toward the hospital. I don't know what happened, but I'm terrified to find out.

I run up the stairs to Naomi's room. I see Jason, Chance, and Ryan standing outside of Naomi's room.

"Hey, what's going on?" I ask, trying to catch my breath.

Ryan had a long, red scratch going down his cheek. Chance was rubbing a bruise, and Jason had an ice pack on his head.

"This," Jason says.

Jason holds my phone up, and I take it from him. I see several messages from Mya. Most of them were addressing the kiss. I want to crawl under a rock and die slowly. I look at the boys. Jason shakes his head, Chance looks away from, and Ryan gives me a sympathetic look.

"Guys, it wasn't like that-"

"Oh we know," Ryan says.

"We actually read the messages, but only from the lock screen. Naomi didn't. She just saw the words kiss, love, and baby," Chance says.

"Where's Amar?" I ask.

"I called Melani to come to get him," Jason says.

"Okay so why are you guys standing out here?" I ask.

"Are you kidding me? I'm not going back in there with King Kong! I'm not ready to die!" Ryan says.

I gulp and walk towards the door. I grab the knob and open the door slowly. The boys push me inside and close the door. I walk over to Naomi's bed. I can hear her sobbing.

"N-Naomi," I croak.

"Go away. I don't want to see you," she cries.

"Naomi, please come from under the covers. I want to talk to you," I whisper.

"Why? So you can lie to my face? I saw the messages, Malik. Go be with her."

"Baby, she kissed me and I pushed her away. I told her that I was marrying the person that I loved and that she missed out. I don't want anybody else but you Naomi. I can promise you that."

She removes the covers from over her face and looks at me. Her red eyes make my heartbreak.

"Malik, why didn't you tell me you had a daughter? Why would you keep something like that from me?"

I sigh and lower my head.

"I was afraid that you wouldn't want to be with me anymore. Plus I didn't believe she was really mine. I wanted to make sure. Then I was going to tell you. I'm sorry, baby."

"Why wouldn't I want to be with you, Malik? That would be hypocritical of me to leave you if you have a child when you didn't do that to me."

I look down and shake my head. The word idiot should have been stamped on my forehead. Naomi intertwines our fingers and kisses my hand.

"I forgive you Malik, but if you keep something huge like that from me again, I will slap the sexiness off yo' ass."

I laugh and try to kiss her. She puts her hand in front of my face and moves her head.

"Don't try to kiss me. I don't know where the girl's lips have been," she says, laughing.

"Girl you better give me them lips," I say, turning her head towards me.

"And if I don't?" She challenges.

I nod and climb on top of her.

"In the hospital, Malik?" She whispers.

I smirk and nod.

"Don't make me do it, Mi-Mi," I whisper in her ear.

I give her a seductive look as our lips meet. A long, passionate kiss sets the mood. I pull away and peck her lips.

"Boy the things you do to me."

I laugh and throw the cover over us. I don't give a flying fuck if we're in a hospital. I needed to show her how much I love her and how much she means to me. Those types of feelings can't wait.
