Thirteen

It didn't really sink in until I got back to the Common room. At that point it was dark out.

Sirius Black is my father. He hurt my mother and put her into a coma! I put my red cloak into my trunk and grabbed my black one .

I walked through the halls and transformed and quickly made my escape out of the school.

I ran through the snow and down to the lake. I transformed back and sat on my long cloak. Luckily it won't get wet and sink through.

I just stared out at the frozen lake.

I few tears fell. I felt like I was going to burst.

I heard footsteps behind me and I quickly turned around with my wand out and saw a black dog. It looked at me curiously.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you." I said to the dog. It cautiously walked over to me.

I petted the dog and I noticed it tensed and I quickly took my hand away.

"Sorry doggy." I said. It gave me a weird look.
"What don't like that name?" To my surprise it shook it's head. "Okay well what about Bear?" It just stared at me. "Okay how about Snuffles? Yea I like that name your new name is snuffles. And I'm Annabelle." I said to Snuffles. It wagged its tail.
I chuckled it turned into laughter then tears.

I covered my face with my hands as I cried. I felt Snuffles nudge me. I look up at him and he looked worried and curious.

"I must look pathetic right now huh?" I said.
I hugged snuffles tightly. "I just found out who my birth parents were." I told him. "And get this my father is Sirius Black." Snuffles looked like he was shocked if that was even possible for a dog. "Yup. You guessed it right the one who betrayed my best friends Harry's parents. He badly hurt my mother Silver and now she's in a coma." I whispered. "And today I got a howler from my adoptive father Lucius Malfoy that bastard. I hate him! He never cared. He'd always say things to put me down and you wanna know my little secret that no one knows Snuffles?" I asked the dog he just stared at me. That's what I expected. "He hurts me. Not just emotionally but mentally too. He performs the Cruciatus Curse on me a lot when I am home behind my brother and mothers backs." I whispered. "And no one believed me when I said something about it." I cried and I heard Snuffles growl as I told him this. "I'm usually not this emotional but hit the right spots on the wall and it will crumple." I stated wiping a year away from my face. I petted Snuffles and he looked like he was going to cry. He then pounced onto me and I couldn't help but yelp. He licked my face a couple times and I couldn't help but giggle.

"Ew slobber! get off me!" I laughed as he got off. "Wanna see something cool!" I quickly transformed into my wolf form.

'Amazing' I heard a voice say. I looked shocked at Snuffles.

'Oh Merlins beard! I can hear you talk we'll sort of.' I said. I heard him chuckle. I turn and ran into the forest with Snuffles following.

"Your slow." He said speeding up past me so I sped up even more.

"Not really." I said speeding off laughing.
