"Just let the past
Just be the past
And focus on things
That are gonna make us laugh
Take me as I am, not who I was
I'll promise I'll be, the one that you can trust
So please
So please don't judge me"

My date with Xabriel was absolutely amazing.

Each day I was beginning to lose doubt.

I was blinded by him, I couldn't see the things that others saw. All I saw was a sweet, kind, and caring guy that I'm bound to fall in love with.

I didn't care about his past anymore.

I really believe he's changing.

My phone vibrated.

I looked at the screen and saw an Instagram notification.

@xabrielweston sent you a direct message

I smiled and opened the message.

@xabrielweston: have I earned your number yet?

I mentally face palmed myself. I completely forgot about giving Xabriel my number.

@iamtrinity: I forgot about that...my numbers is (206-3652)

Before a minute passed, I was getting a call on FaceTime.

I answered without hesitation.

Xabriel's signature smirk filled my screen.

"You just can't get enough of me."

"I think it's the other way around" I replied

"It's not my fault you're hard to resist."

I felt my cheeks get warm. "I-I"

"Look at you getting all flustered," he teased, cutting me off.

I just rolled my eyes.

"Did you enjoy our date?" He asked, changing his tone from playful to serious.

I wide smile plastered across my face.

"I'm going to take that as a yes."

"Don't flatter yourself, hun."

"I don't need to" he shrugged

"I have work tomorrow so we'll have to study before school or during our lunch period," I said changing the subject

"You have a job?" He asked raising his eyebrows

"Yeah" I shrugged

"Where?"

"Walmart"

"I wonder what you like in a uniform."

"It's just a navy blue shirt and khaki pants, nothing exciting to see."
