I finished getting ready for the basketball around six-thirty. The game starts at seven o'clock, so I had a few minutes to spare.

I made sure to take a picture of myself wearing Xabriel's jersey.

I sent him the picture of me in his jersey, along with a little message

Me: Good luck tonight, baby! I love you so much, and I can't wait to cheer you on! I hope you know that I'm always going to be your number one supporter no matter what! Can't wait to see you tonight. 😘

Xabriel 💕 : Thank you, babygirl. I love you too! You look amazing as always 😍

I grabbed my purse and my car keys before going downstairs.

"Trinity can we please talk about what happened earlier?" my mom asked with a sad expression on her face

"There's nothing to talk about, mom. There's nothing you can say that'll change my mind. I can never live under the same roof as her."

"Trinity-"

"Mom I have to go, I'm going to be late," I said, cutting her off.

I know it was rude, but I desperately wanted to avoid this conversation.
