"If I could change the world overnight
There'd be no such thing as goodbye
You'll be standing right where you were
And we'd get the chance we deserve oh
Try to deny it as much as you want
But in time our feelings will show"

I sat quietly in the passenger side of Xabriel's car.
I'm not going to lie, I could get used to riding with him.

"Your car smells nice" I said, taking in the vanilla and cinnamon scent.

"Thanks" he replied, turning on the radio.

Neither of us said anything else, but the silence wasn't awkward at all. We just listened to the music and enjoyed being in each other's presence.

"We're here" he announced, parking the car. He grabbed all of the materials and opened the door for me.

Xabriel's being a gentleman?

"Thanks" I smiled

"No problem."

The library was pretty much empty, but we still sat where we wouldn't be a disturbance.

I decided that it would be best if we went over English first, so I pulled out a copy of William Shakespeare's play Macbeth.

"I hate Shakespeare, it's so confusing" Xabriel complained

"I love it, and I'm here to help you, so there are no excuses."

He let out a groan of frustration.

"Okay, as you know, Macbeth is a tragedy. It was first performed in 1606. Macbeth is about a brave Scottish general named Macbeth. Macbeth receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan and takes the Scottish throne for himself. Our assignment is to discuss the relationship between Macbeth and Banquo. We have to determine if their relationship is based on genuine respect and friendship at the beginning of the play. There are also a few questions we have to ask ourselves. One, How was their relationship affected by the prophecies of the witches? Two, Does Banquo ever doubt Macbeth's loyalty to his country, king, and fellow soldiers? And three, what other factors contribute to their increasing distrust of one another? Lastly, we must use textual evidence from the play to support our answers."

Xabriel just stared at me. "Yup, I'm going to fail this assignment."

"No, you're not going to fail anything. I'm here to help you. I'm not going to let you fail." I reassured him, placing my hand atop of his.

He gave me a soft smile, "I really appreciate you, not just for tutoring me, but for being patient with me as well. I'm sure you'd rather be doing something else, so I would never take your help for granted. You could have easily declined but instead you decided to help me."
