Chapter seven

Emma's P.O.V.

I walked silently up to the HOH room in total shock of the results of the veto competition.

One word: Austin

This week is totally screwed up I need to pick a side. The best thing to do now is to put Steve up on the block next to John because Steve is not as loyal as he seems, but that gives Liztin all the power and they may not listen to me when I say that Steve has to go.

Then I remembered the conversation I had with John two nights ago.

Threatening to put up Liz in place of Austin may make Austin stay up on the block. Of course in order to keep her trust I would have to tell her that all it is is a threat and she doesn't have to worry.

Liz and I did a lot of talking last night, she loves Austin, for reasons that no one will ever know, but she is willing to play dirty and hope he still cares about her afterwards.

I also told Liz about me and John. John has no idea I told her, but I felt vulnerable and Liz really is my best friend in the house it's hard to keep things from her the way I have all summer.

I miss my Johnny Mac, we basically don't have to hide anymore, Austin is the only one who is unaware that John and I are in a showmance, and I could care less if he finds out. If he loves Liz like he says he does then he's out the door this week and if not, then I will have to evict my girl Liz.

I walked back down to the kitchen where John and Liz were sitting.

"Emma why are you so short!" John asked and laughed obnoxiously.

"Excuse me." I smiled and instead of acting disgusted I walked over to him and planted a big kiss on his lips.

"Um, Emma!" John pushed me away

"It's okay John, I know." Liz said "I can't believe I didn't know but I do know, Austin is in the shower, go on up to the HOH room he won't go up there."

I winked at John and we walked up to my room. My duties up here are almost over, as long as Liz is on board, I am going to stage a set up tomorrow to get Austin not to use his Veto and then worst case scenario, my last duty is to name a replacement nom if he does use his veto.

We sat on the couch and I stared into his eyes.

The connection between us was so strong that you could feel it radiating off of us.

"It's you and me against the world, Johnny Mac." I said

"M'lady." He bowed "your all I need, so why did you tell Liz about us?"

"Because she is all about getting Austin out this week, and it's not going to be easy, we just have to make him feel good about his position and that he will be safe and then blindside him."

"Yeah and now next week we are the soul targets."

"Your forgetting how much luck goes into next week, anyone can win HOH but it's the veto that matters, only thing is if you don't win HOH, John, one of is going to go to jury."

"No." He said "I am winning that HOH, I need to."
