Steve's P.O.V.

I could not sleep at all last night. Because of the surprise eviction and now this weeks double eviction spanning over the next two days, my HOH reign is extremely short and I don't have much sway over my decision. I must either put up the showmance or put up the best friends.

I would be stupid not to put up Emma and Johnny Mac. As long as they don't win the veto one of them would be leaving at it would be Liz's decision, not mine.

However, no one knows what today holds. I decided not to go down and tell them my decision so that I could stop playing emotionally and leave it all up to strategic gameplay. I waited for the producers to call us down to the nomination ceremony and when they did I stared each of them in the eye, and revealed the names.

John's P.O.V.

Steve and I are pretty close so I didn't think there was anything to worry about going into the nomination ceremony. I figured that he would put up the girls and I would have to do everything in my power to make sure that we both stay safe through my vote to evict Liz.

That was not the case this week.

When Steve turned the keys to reveal the names I was surprised to see that my picture popped up first, followed by Emma's.

"Well that happened." I said aloud.

"Johnny Mac I nominated you because of the deceit you used in this game, I love you like a brother but I can't trust that you will take me to final two if I don't split you guys up. And Emma, for the same reasons and for our lack of communication throughout this game, I have chosen for you to go up next to Johnny."

"Looks like there's a first for everything." Emma said aloud, commenting on how this was her first time being up on the block. I was very ticked off that Steve has done this, although it was his best game move and Emma knew that too. If either Steve or Liz win the veto, Emma and I will be split up, now we have to win it.

We avoided Steve the rest of the morning at all costs, we didn't want him to see how upset we were that all of our hard work to get to the end together could be over in mere hours. Things could get awkward, but who am I kidding? Anything involving Steve is already awkward enough.

I couldn't believe how fast the days events have been going.

As I made Emma and I some soup, we heard the doorbell.

Of course we all ran to see who it could be and in came Zach Rance from Big Brother 16.

"Hey, ya fruit loops, it's time for the veto competition." He said launching fruit loops all over the house. "Put on your best clothes and meet me in the backyard."

We did as he said and we were all looking like a million dollars. We wondered why he wanted us to change into these clothes and then quickly realized it was a trick and this was a comp where we would all get very messy.
