Steve's P.O.V.

Liz and Austin ran over to the couches to join us and then it began.

"Houseguests." She addressed again "one by one Liz and Steve will go into the diary room and cast their vote to evict. In the event of a tie, Emma you will have to cast your tie breaking vote."

I was very nervous about how fast things are happening. It makes sense now why they put the backyard on lockdown. In probably less than an hour we will be competing for final 4 HOH.

"Liz your first." She got up and was obviously voting for John to be evicted.

When she returned I stood up and walked into the diary room.

"Hi Steve." Julie addressed me.

"Hi Julie." I said like a kid on Christmas morning, it is always good to see a different face than the people I'm forced to interact with everyday.

I knew where my vote was going so I said it aloud to Julie and returned to my seat.

After what felt like an eternity but must have been a commercial break, she returned on the screen and read the results.

"The votes are in... and we have a tie! Emma please step in front of your Houseguests and cast your vote to evict."

"Austin, I think now is the best time to tell you that John and I are a lot closer than you think, it had to be you to go this week, everyone that's left are my close friends, and you and I never even talk game, I am sorry but you are my vote."

He stood up, hugged and kissed Liz and  then shook mine and Johnny Mac's hands and when Emma went to hug him and say sorry he ignored her.

Austin walked out of the house to basically no cheering from the crowd, it became obvious that America enjoyed the decision to send him out.

John's P.O.V.

Liz was crying like a crybaby and Emma was ironically consoling her, the emotions of women make no sense to me. You are crying because your boyfriend was evicted, you played a part in it, and the person wiping your tears is the one that sent him packing.

I shook my head. On the bright side everyone now knows that Emma and I are together. The secret showmance is no secret anymore and it feels like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

All I have to do, all I need to do is win this HOH, for me, for Emma, for all that is good in this world, we cannot be split up this time.

I realized that since today is Monday, everything is going to happen really fast and we could lose each other by Wednesday if I don't win HOH. Even if I do win HOH, whoever I leave off the block and whoever wins the power of veto hold all of the power, all I would be doing is solidifying my spot in the finals.

Before I jump too far into the logistics of gameplay, I decided to clear my mind and get ready for the competition

Julie called us into the backyard and we got into our positions. We are playing a lip reading game on what our fellow Houseguests may or may not have said while in the house and then have to answer with true or false.

I looked over at Emma off to the side, because she is the outgoing HOH she can't compete and I have to win this for us. I gave her a quick wink and put my gamed face on.

"Let's go!" I said adrenaline pumping through my veins. And then of course I nervously laughed because Emma was laughing at me trying to act macho. Her beautiful long hair covered her face and her smile lit up my world, she has the whitest and prettiest teeth.

'Way to make me lose my focus' I thought.
