Chapter nine

John's P.O.V.

It is day 87 in the house and I  dying to get out. I am dying to see my family, and I am dying to see where mine and Emma's relationship will go when all these game moves are put aside. I am at my wits end and am tired of strategizing and lying and scheming throughout the house.

With all that said and done, today is the veto ceremony. I am staying up on the block and maybe this week if Emma can't protect me, maybe it will be my time to go, I can't really stand anyone in this house besides Emma. All of my friends in this game were picked off one by one in the beginning.

I got dressed, and was glad I didn't have to prepare a speech since there is going to be a 0% chance that the veto will be used on me.

We were all called into the living room by the producers and then we had to conduct the ceremony.

Steve's P.O.V.

Emma stood before us all barely making eye contact with Austin and Liz and I was more confused than ever and totally prepared for Emma to go back on her word and put me up as the replacement nominee after all.

"Austin, as the winner of the golden power of veto it is your choice to either save yourself, use it on Johnny, or to not use it all."

She sat down and Austin stood up. I gulped.

"Houseguests, with this power, I have decided to take a personal attack on the integrity of our head of household, because she has told me that her only other option for a nominee is to put up Liz, I am going to not use the power of veto."

I felt like throwing up, this is a history making event on big brother and classic example of both how a showmance can ruin a player's own game and how powerful the influence of the head of household could be.

Emma told me yesterday I had no reason to worry and that she wouldn't need a replacement nominee and now I understand why. She may be one of the greatest women to ever play this game, even after finding love in the game.

I looked over and even John was in shock. Nobody knew that Emma could pull this off.

"This meeting is adjourned" Emma spoke up and then quickly returned to her HOH room looking like she was about to throw up.

John ran after her and Austin wondered why.

"They are a thing." Liz said.

Oh no! Liz found out their secret and Is trying to expose it to Austin.

"What makes you think that?" I asked Liz.

"Don't talk to me right now Steve i am not in a good mood. Your very lucky that you have no social game, you can't win big brother and that's why Emma is protecting you, for an easy win."

I took that like a bullet to the chest, got up, walked away and planned to stick with Johnny and Emma and vote Austin out this week.
