They went to the bullpen and Tony let Kat sit at his desk while he went to talk to Gibbs. He offered his idea to Gibbs, which Gibbs approved of. "DiNozzo," Gibbs said before he left, "take care of her..."

Tony nodded. He left a note for bishop and went with Kat to the store to pick up a few things. Then they went back to Tony's place.

Kat was setting up the kitchen and Tony was getting chairs from anywhere in the house. Someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it," Kat called out.

Tony came running. "Wait. I'll get it. You go finish setting up."

Kat raised an eyebrow in suspicion but went back to the kitchen. Tony opened the door and let McGee and Sky in.  Gibbs and Jenny didn't come. They thought it would seem a bit strange if they did come.

Everything went along. A few other agents from NCIS came, including Abby and Palmer and Breena. But not ducky.

The door opened and bishop came in. "Hey Tony. I was told that you needed help with the security-"

She stopped talking when she saw them all freak out trying to tell her to shush. Kat looked over at her, confused. She pushed the button on the stereo. "Help with the what??"

Bishop bit her lip, wishing she could erase the words. Kat looked at Tony. "Tony, what does she mean by security?"

Tony walked over to Kat and put his hands on her shoulders. She stepped back. "Tell me what she meant!"

"She meant that this party is because I am in charge of keeping an eye on you..."

"Why?" Kat was slowly backing away.

"Because. The men who held you and Sky captive escaped. You needed to be watched and I didn't want to stress you out and so I thought to stage a party."

"So you lied to me? Even though you knew I'd want to know!?"

"Kat.." Tony made another attempt to touch her hand.

Kat jerked it away. She started up to a run to the door. Bishop tried to grab her arm on the way by, but Kat ran faster than bishop moved. Tony stood in the hallway calling, "Kat!! Kat get back here!!"

Kat kept running. As the distance between she and them grew, she could hear Sky beginning to whine and wonder what's going on and when Kat would be back.

Kat ran down he stairs and out the front door. She looked around for a car. But when she heard footsteps running towards her, she knew she didn't have time and ran down the sidewalk as fast as she could. Kat didn't know who she could trust anymore. She was hurt...

Kat ran until her feet gave out and she tripped and fell. She lay on the ground, crying. Hands touched her shoulders and helped Her up. It wasn't Tony's hands. Kat assumed Gibbs.

When her blurry vision became clear, all she saw was a fist. It hit her straight in the nose. Kat stumbled back and looked at the threatening figure, leaping for another attack. She identified the figure as one of her captors.

In one smooth movement, Kat turned to her side and let the man jump into the he ground. He got up angrily and turned around. One after one, Kat blocked every punch. A van pulled up. The other captor jumped out and went to the other side of Kat. Kat was outnumbered. She was scared and her nose was dripping blood into her mouth.

Tony's car pulled up. Tony saw what was happening and grabbed out his gun. He fumbled with the lock in his car. Just as he opened the doors, the men began beating Kat. She slowly lost control of her blocks.

Tony pulled out a gun, but before he could tell for them to stop, something amazing happened...

One of the men fell back, landing five feet away from where he was. Kat stood now, facing the other man, in full attack mode. Something inside her clicked and she turned into some type of boxer or something. She suddenly knew so many different defense moves and all.

The man came at her again but she easily stopped him. Tony ran over and pointed his gun at the man attacking Kat. "Freeze!"

The man continued trying to punch. Tony's voice got Kat to falter and the man hit her right in the jaw. Kat fell backwards and landed on the ground.

Tony ran over and took the fight with that man. Kat looked up and saw them. Anger filled her. She swept her feet and tripped Tony. He collapsed, looking back at her. She got up and launched onto the man, fighting with every ounce of her might.

After they were on the ground, she hit hard and the man's head jerked back and hit something hard and he closed his eyes, blood coming from both of his nostrils.

Tony got up. He pulled Kat off of him. "Kat! Enough! He's out!"

Kat pushed Tony away. "Stop!! Don't touch me!"

McGee and bishop were nearly there. Tony took a step towards Kat. "Stop! Don't take another step or ill..."

"Kat! What is the matter with you? It's me. You can trust me."

Kat grimaced at the thought of trusting him ever again. "Are you kidding me? No I can't! I can never trust you again!"

Kat began to run again but Tony grabbed her Hand and held on. Something took over Kat and she turned around swinging at Tony.

He yelled her name, he was right there but she couldn't hear him. She wasn't herself. McGee and bishop pulled up. Tony was blocking her punches.

McGee got out, "Tony!!"

Tony glanced over at McGee, and Kat hit him right in the nose. He fell back and she still continued. McGee ran over, confused, but grabbed Kat off of Tony.

"Kat! Kat, stop!! It's just Tony!"

Kat tried to turn to fight against McGee but he led her arms steady behind her back. Bishop had already called Gibbs and Gibbs was on his way.

She came over and stood in front of Kat, between her and Tony. As soon as she couldn't see Tony, she settled down. She looked at bishop. Bishop was extremely confused, but she took Kat back to the car, keeping her out of view of Tony.

McGee helped Tony up, who one had small bruises. He had refused to hurt Kat. He checked the pulse of the first man, while McGee checked the pulse of the second, who had hit his head on something hard.

Tony looked at McGee. "He only had a few injuries. He's still alive.."

McGee checked the pulse. Tony watched his face become concerned. McGee felt his wrist, after checking his neck. He looked up at Tony, quite worried. "Tony... He's dead..."

Tony went over. "What??" He checked the pulse for himself. He looked at the car, where Kat was sitting, staring angrily at Tony....
