Iris and Ash stepped out of the portal, with the former still wearing the latter's hoodie. Before anyone could ask for her results, Iris jumped in the air with a grin. "I PASSED!!"

The girls giggled and congratulated Iris on her pass for the exam.

"Hey, who's hoodie is that?" Misty pointed out.

"Oh this?" Iris glanced down at herself. "It's Ash's." As she said that, she walked up to the raven haired boy and handed him back the hoodie. However, Ash just shook his head.

"Keep it." he shrugged. "I don't wanted anymore."

Even though Iris should have been mad at how Ash was giving her something he didn't want, she felt strangely happy, eye thoughtful the piece of clothing that had belonged to him.

Smiling, she slipped the hoodie back on and skipped back to the girls.

"Well, someone's in a great mood." May smirked. Iris was tilting her head as if she didn't understand what she meant.

"Usually, you would get mad at someone for giving you an attitude—especially if it was a boy. Did something happen?" Dawn raised an eyebrow in amusement. Iris quickly averted her eyes from the girls.

"No-nothing much!" She blurted out. The girls started giggling while Iris pouted.

"Alright girls, we can save the chatting for later," Delia said, getting their attentions. "Now the last person to go... Serena Yvonne, that's you, right?" Everyone diverted their eyes to the honey haired girl, who nodded with a nervous gulp.

"Y-yes!" she exclaimed after a few seconds. She quickly ran to stand at the portal, only to trip on her own foot and fall face flat onto the ground. Everyone sweat dropped while Ash turned his head away with a sigh. Her clumsiness was beyond something he could handle, this test could give him a bit of a trouble.

"Serenie, are you okay?" Iris asked apprehensively as Serena rubbed her head in pain.

"I'm fine." Forcing a smile at the four, she rose to her feet. "I can do this!"

Although she made the statement, Serena wasn't sure exactly how she was going to pass. She was never the outgoing person she had hoped to become, and on top of that, her timidity and clumsiness made it even harder for her to talk to people.

Could she really do this?

"Yup, that's the spirit! Don't forget we're always there for you!" The girls smiled at her encouragingly. "And plus, if you ever get lost or into trouble, Ash is going to come and save you, like he did with us all."

Serena looked towards Ash, who wasn't paying attention at all. She wasn't sure how in the world this person could help her, but hearing that made Serena feel a bit better. Whether or not she passed, she was going to try her best, not for the sake of herself, for the sake of her friends.

"Thanks!" Serena grinned and stepped in front of the portal, with Ash standing beside her. The portal opened up, white light invaded the room. Serena took a deep breath and lifted her foot towards the circle of brightness, but she was moving too fast and ended up tumbling in the portal.
