Everything turned grey.

Right after his father's betrayal, Ash's world became dull and colourless. The incident had made Ash doubt everyone around him—even himself.

Although a part of him still believed that Silver had his own reasons, he decided to leave trust out of his life. Not wanting to feel betrayal ever again, the raven haired boy distanced himself from everybody else and locked all his emotions away.

After Ash became an assassin, he killed, and killed, and killed some more. Killing became a way to distract himself from the memories he didn't want to remember. Before he knew it, Ash had gotten used to seeing others die. He didn't feel sad, fear, or guilt, for it became a common thing for him.

There were days where he would look in the mirror only to see not a boy, but a monster.

A grey, broken monster.

But it all changed when he met the five girls-- Misty, Dawn, Iris, May, and Serena.

The girls and somehow crept into his heart without him knowing, and by the time he finally noticed, his world was in colour again.

They showed him laughter, happiness, hope, and all the other things he thought he had thrown away. Just when Ash decided to put down his past and open up his heart, the man of his past came back.

Everything was turning grey once more.

"What are you doing here, Silver?"

Silver smiled at the boy, which caused more memories to flash in his head. Ash clenched his fist in annoyance. It was the same smile from the same man that he had adored so much.

It was all fake.

"You must be wondering why I'm here and not Giovanni, but don't worry, I will explain everything," Silver said, turning around so his back was facing the two, "Five years ago, I joined The Demons to pay my debt, but after a year Giovanni based away because of some unknown disease. So I am now the head of this organization."

Ash scowled at the man that stood in front of him, anger rising inside him. He didn't care about anything he was saying. The man that stood in front of him was the same man that had betrayed his family, and that will forever be the same.

"So? What does that have to do with me?" His words were filled with malice. Ash caught a glimpse of Serena, who had a concerned look on her face. The raven boy took a deep breath, giving her the 'I'm okay' look. He won't drag Serena into this mess.

"Ash, I feel bad for what I have done to you in the past, I'm sorry," Silver said, "So I invite you to join The Demons. I will give you everything you want."

"What about mom? I'm not the only one you should say sorry to."

The man averted his eyes, "I can't face Delia anymore, there's already no turning back."

Ash almost scoffed at his comment. 'Can't face her anymore' was just an excuse. Silver only wanted him because of his talent and skills. He couldn't make it anymore obvious.

Before Ash got a chance to protest, he felt someone grab hold of his arm. He turned only to see Serena clinging onto his arm. She glared at the man.

"Ash is staying in Mafia Org so give it up. He won't go wth you."

She smiled at the raven haired boy, which he returned with a nod. Silver chuckled before his expression turned grim. He strode towards the two and shook his head.
