Abbey's Perspective:
"Let them go." Rick commanded, the barrel of his gun raised at our captors' heads.
"Well, are these little friends yours, sweetheart?" Noah asked, turning to me.
"Ey! Fuck off man!" Daryl spat as he tried to wrestle out of Ivan and another man's grip.
"Calm him down, Joe!" Noah ordered. The other man, Joe, kicked Daryl in the shin, causing him to groan. Ivan just stood there and watched as he told Daryl to calm down.
"What do you want?" Rick asked.
Noah turned towards his direction, his chin up like the little prick that he was. "Weapons down. We're friends here." "
That's just what the Governor said." Glenn scowled. "You know him?"
"Oh, Phillip!" Noah exclaimed. "Wow, what a...interesting man. Too bad your little redneck here killed him. Shame too, we like little Dixon here."
"Noah, leave Daryl the fuck alone." I demand.
"Get on with it already." Rick raised his voice. "What do you want, Noah?"
Noah scowls as his direction changes to face me. His eyes, full of hatred met my fearful pair. His arm flings up as his pointer finger is extended to me. "Revenge. Revenge on that little rat."
"What th' hell has Abbey ever done te ye?" Daryl sneers.
"Abbey, your little Abigail, she is not what she seems." He glared at me. "I met Abigail in business. She was Vice President of our company and she had hired me. I knew I had something for her the day I laid eyes on her." My stomach sank as his words flooded out of his mouth. "After two years, I asked her out. She rejected me. That was the day the outbreak had begun."
"Wait." Daryl interrupted. "Ye just wanna kill us because she didn't date ye? Man, this is stupid as hell!"
"I didn't finish, dumb ass." Noah growled. "I followed her throughout this all, spying on her little group. They had everything. Doctors, medicine, food, protection, weapons. But, Abbey was doing something no one knew about." he turned to me again. "Ms. Mimroe, why don't you tell your friends?"
I felt a big lump in my throat as my eyes fell to the ground. "Well, our company was distributing this medicine or vaccine, something like that. It was being transferred to the Government or some place like that. One night, I-I stole a specimen. I found out that this virus was being used as a weapon against American enemies."
I looked up into the eyes of many, some with their mouths gaped open.
"At some point, the Government used this as a bomb to weaken some countries in the East. People began to die and...come back. They became the walking dead."
"However, it must have ended up spreading throughout Earth's atmosphere, that's how we all became infected." I sighed. "He's upset with me because I knew what was going on with this disease or whatever the hell it is. I took those specimen and tried to look for answers. Tried to look for the cure and..."
My eyes filled with tears. "I almost had it."
"Abs.." Daryl softened.
"Noah, please." I begged. "Stop this. Everyone, stop this violence. The dead is our problem, not the living. I've never killed a living person, ever. I can help you, I can help you all if you just let me. If you can work together like the human beings that you are, I might be able to come up with a cure. Maybe not the walkers but I can save you all if you give me the chance and your time. You can live. Everyone surviving out there can live. Please, don't loose your humanity. It's all that we have left."
