Rebel feels her tears start to form again.
"Adam, why do you even care?"-Rebel
"Because, I don't like to see you upset, you're the only person I feel connected to and I want to be here for you, you're my girl!"- Adam
"If only Mickey felt what you feel" she said under her breath with a slight smile.
"What?" -Adam
"Uh, never mind" -Rebel
"Come on Rebel, tell me what's wrong"-Adam
"It's Mickey, okay" she said bursting into tears.
"What, your boyfriend?"-Adam
"Yes,I guess"- Rebel
"What did he do to you?" Adam said furiously
"Nothing"-Rebel
"Then why are you crying?" -Adam
"Because, I'm not happy"-Rebel
"Why?"-Adam
"I just feel like he doesn't want to move forward with me and I feel like he's distant."-Rebel
Rebel begins to put her head back on her knees. Before her head gets to her knees, Adam gathers her up in his arms and rubs her back. Rebel clutching to his shirt. His shirt wet from her tears. He then begins to brush her hair with his hand while kissing her head. Rebel clutches to him tighter. She then mumbles in his neck
"I don't know what to do"- Rebel
"Rebs, you have to do what your heart is telling you to do. Do you love him?"-Adam
"I don't know Adam, I just don't know what love is right now. I don't even feel loved by anyone"-Rebel
"Don't say that Rebel, I love you dearly. Everyone knows we have the best chemistry here. And I love that we have a love story together. I love working with you. You're the Amy to my Bumper. And I wouldn't want it to be anyone else but my favorite "Rebel" (Rebel starts to slightly laugh) Anyone will be lucky to have a girl like you Rebs"-Adam
Rebel Looks at him with a slight smile.
"I love when you call me Rebs"
Adam gets up and puts his arms around her shoulders rubbing them.
"Don't you cry no more"-Adam
Adam wraps her in his arms. Rebel's hands squeezing him around his waist. Adam let out a light laugh. In that moment, Rebel felt safe and protected with Adam's grip around her. She let out a sigh. The two never broke the hug.
