It was really early in the morning, and Jessica started crying. So Rebel got up to go calm down the baby. She made her way to the baby's room. She reached down and grabbed the baby. She then held her close to her chest the baby's head laying on Rebels shoulder. She then began to rub her back.
"It's okay mamas, mommy's here. Are you hungry?"-Rebel made her way to the kitchen to warm up a bottle. She placed the baby in her high chair and turned on the stove to heat the bottle. She then sat at the table next to her daughter. She just stared at her daughter with a big smile. Jessica then reached out with her hand and Rebel gave her her finger. The baby held onto it for a while.
"Jess. You have made my life so wonderful. I love you so much. And I'm so happy to be you're mommy."-Rebel
The baby smiled at her and Rebel placed her hand on her hair and began stroking her hair with a smile on her face.
Rebel then got up to go get the bottle. She turned off the stove, checked the temperature on the milk and began feeding her daughter. She just enjoyed being with her daughter at this time.
"Oh you were hungry huh mama?"-Rebel watched her daughter chugging the milk.
"All done?"-Rebel took the bottle from her mouth when she started spitting it out. She got the towel and wiped her mouth. Then got up and picked up the baby then placed her head on her shoulder and began patting her back to burp her. She let out a tiny burp. And Rebel just rubbed her back. And looked at her daughter. She then brought her back to her room and sat in the rocking chair. Rebel then started to sing "Baby Mine" from Dumbo.
"Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
Never to part,
Baby of mine."
In the bedroom Adam stirred around and realized Rebel wasn't next to him. He heard singing coming from the baby's room so he got up and went to the baby's room and saw his wife standing up and rocking the baby. Singing. He smiled at this.
Rebel continued to sing not knowing Adam was in the door. She just kept her back towards him.
"Little one, when you play;
Don't you mind what they say.
Let those eyes sparkle and shine,
Never a tear,
Baby of mine."
Adam stood in the doorway and joined in the song.
"If they knew sweet little you"-Adam
Rebel turned quickly and saw Adam and smiled at him. Adam came behind her and held her waist and continued to sing.
"They'd end up loving you too.
All those same people who scold you;
What they'd give just for the right to hold you."-Adam
Rebel and Adam began singing together

Then Adam stopped singing. And Rebel laid the baby in her crib and covered her with a blanket while finishing up the song.
"But you're so precious to me,
Sweet as can be,
Baby of mine.
Baby of mine"-Rebel
Rebel then leaned down and said
"Goodnight baby"-Rebel then kissed her baby.
Adam placed his hand on the crib and wrapped his arm around Rebel. Rebel placed an arm around his stomach and wrapped an arm around his back as they both looked at the sleeping baby.
Adam then turned to look at Rebel. And Rebel looked back at him with a smile. Adam then leaned in and kissed her temple.
"Happy 1st Mother's Day baby."-Adam said softly.
"Thank you babe"-Rebel
Adam then kissed her lips.
"Come on. I have something for you"-Adam held her hand and led her to the couch in the living room. He then gave her a little box. Rebel smiled at him and opened the box. And when she looked in it. It was a necklace. She took it out of the box and looked at it. It was a heart that had Jessica's name on it with the baby's birthstone. Rebel teared up.
"Thank you baby"-Rebel leaned forward and attached herself to him. She released and kissed his lips then came back to a hug.
"You're welcome baby. You're an amazing mother"-Adam smiled
"Now I have the two loves of my life around my neck. You and the baby"-Rebel smiled
Adam smiled and looked at her neck with the two necklaces.
"I love you so so so much."-Adam
"I love you baby. Forever and always."-Rebel
Adam pecked her lips
