Take Me Back

It was 1 in the morning and they had just recently took Rebel to the hospital. They just wanted to do some further testing on her head to make sure she's okay. Meanwhile, back at home Adam was a wreck. Anna was still there helping him with the baby. Luckily she didn't cry at all. But Adam hasn't stopped crying ever since his wife went away in an ambulance. He loved her so much but he doesn't know if she'll ever take him back and forgive him. He didn't even care about the fight they had earlier. He just wanted her back. Adam decided to go to the hospital. He left the baby with Anna and drove to the hospital.

"Um can you tell me what room Rebel DeVine is in?"-Adam

"Who are you?"-nurse

"Um. I'm Adam DeVine. I'm her husband"-Adam

"Okay. She's in room 223. She may be asleep the doctor gave her some medicine"-nurse

"Okay thank you"-Adam went looking for the room

When Adam arrived to the room he opened the door softly and walked inside quietly. And he saw his wife sleeping with bumps and bruises on her face. And his tears began to shed. He hated himself. He went closer to her and brushed her bangs out of her face. He then sat down beside her, grabbed her hand and held it. He rested his forehead on her hand and began crying some more. He then felt her hand move and touch his hair. Rebel woke up slowly. Adam picked up his head quickly.

"Adam?"-Rebel

"Oh Rebel"-Adam tears flowed faster

"What are you doing here?"-Rebel

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay"-Adam

"Yeah I'm fine"-Rebel

"Are you sure?"-Adam

"Yeah"-Rebel

They just stared at each other for a moment. Both of them confused and not knowing what to say. Rebel wanted to lift her head but she got dizzy and placed her hand on her head.

"Easy, easy"-Adam said as he helped her lay her head back down.

"Thanks"-Rebel

"You're welcome"-Adam

Again neither of them said anything. Rebel turned away. Adam still stared at her. Adam reached for her hand.

"Rebel"-Adam

Rebel turned to look at him. Allowing her hand to be held.

"I'm so sorry"-Adam said crying louder

"I never wanted to hurt you"-Adam

"Please forgive me and take me back"-Adam

"Adam... I-"-Rebel

"Please Rebel. I hate myself for what I did. And I promise I won't work late anymore. I will help you more with the baby. I'll be by your side at all times. Just please don't leave me. I love you with all my heart. And I love our baby. I don't want to lose my family."-Adam

Rebel began to tear up.

"Adam..."-Rebel

"I love you Rebel"-Adam

"Adam..."-Rebel

"Do you still love me?"-Adam

Rebel was silent. Adam just cried louder thinking it was officially over. He began to walk out.

"ADAM!STOP!"-Rebel

Adam stopped and turned back around and looked at Rebel. He walked back over to her bed. Rebel scooted over to let him on the bed with her. Adam laid down next to her and Rebel wrapped him in her arms. Adam continued to cry as he clutched to her. Adam looked up at her.

"Rebel"-Adam

"Yes. Adam"-Rebel

"Are you still my wife?"-Adam

"Until death do us part"-Rebel smiled

"Do you love me?"-Adam.

"Forever and ever babe"-Rebel Said tearfully.

Adam and Rebel both crying harder. Adam lifted his head. And Rebel just kissed his lips. Adam kissed her back passionately. Both hands on either cheek. Adam released his lips. Rebel's eyes still closed from the kiss.

"I love you Rebel"-Adam

"I love you"-Rebel

Adam brought his lips to hers again. Rebel released and let out a light laugh with a smile. Adam smiled back and kissed her once again. Adam just nestled to her side happy to have his wife back. He held her like a child would hold a teddy bear. He then got off the bed and sat down beside her and held her hand. The doctor then came in.

"Hi Rebel.  I took a look at your cat scan. Everything looks normal no abnormalities. We're just gonna keep you overnight just to be sure. You can go home in the morning."-doctor

"Okay thank you doctor"-Rebel

Adam kissed her hand. Relieved of the news.

"Thank god you're okay"-Adam

Rebel just smiled at him.

"Told you I was okay"-Rebel

"Do you want me to stay?"-Adam

"No"-Rebel

Adam was so confused. He thought everything was okay now.

"Uh okay then."-Adam said with a frown and walked towards the door.

"Adam"-Rebel laughed.

Adam turned around.

"Why do you keep leaving me?"-Rebel

"Okay you're really confusing me. You just said you didn't want me to stay"-Adam

"Oh Adam you're so gullible. You never really understood sarcasm did you?"-Rebel laughed again. Adam smiled at her.

"Come back over here you brat"-Rebel

Adam laughed and walked back over. Rebel grabbed his hand. Adam sat down by her side. And kissed her forehead softly minding her bruises.

Rebel winced at the contact.

"Are you okay? Did I hurt you?"-Adam

"No don't worry about it. I'm fine."-Rebel smiled at him.

Adam sat back down and laid his head on his palms.

"What's wrong?"-Rebel

"Nothing. I just can't believe I'm the one who did that to you"-Adam

"Adam I already forgave you. Don't worry these bruises will go away with time. Then I'll be back to your beautiful wife."-Rebel

"You're already beautiful to me"-Adam

"Come here"-Rebel said as she raised her arms in the air.

Adam came forward and hugged her. Then placing a delicate kiss  on her lips.

"Get some sleep babe. You've been up all day"-Rebel

"I don't want to leave you alone again"-Adam

"No it's fine you're tired"-Rebel

"Are you sure?"-Adam

"Yes. Go to sleep."-Adam began to set up the chair to fall asleep.

"What are you doing?"-Rebel

"Trying to get comfortable on this stupid chair"-Adam

"I bet you'll be much more comfortable sleeping next to your wife"-Rebel smiled.

"Yes. Yes I would"-Adam

"Well come on then"-Rebel

Adam got on the hospital bed and snuggled close to his wife. Laying his head on her chest. And Rebel playing with his hair until he drifted asleep. Rebel following after.
