Why do I keep Hurting you?

Rebel and Adam were still in the hospital bed together sleeping. Adam stirred around and looked at Rebel sound asleep. Adam got off of the bed and went to go get some coffee for him and Rebel. When he came back Rebel was still asleep.

"Rebel"-Adam whispered

"Baby. Wake up"-Adam

No response.

"Rebel? Rebel?"-Adam started to shake her.

Nothing.

"Rebel"-Adam

"What Adam. Geez"-Rebel opened her eyes. And closed them.

"Oh my God"-Adam ran to her and held her close.

"What are you doing?"-Rebel

"I thought you were dead"-Adam

"Oh Adam"-Rebel put her hands on his cheeks

"I'm not going anywhere okay. Why would you think I was dead"-Rebel

"Well you weren't waking up and I know I pushed you really hard. (Adam said tearfully). And head injuries can be fatal"-Adam

"Adam..."-Rebel

"I just don't want to lose you again"-Adam

"And you won't"-Rebel

Adam wanted to run his hand through her hair. So he started with his hand on her cheek. But Rebel winced. Adam pulled his hand away quickly. He then looked down ashamed.

"Why do I keep hurting you?"Adam

"It's okay"-Rebel

"You know what I'm just gonna go home for a little while and then I'll pick you up when the doctors release you."-Adam started walking towards the door.

"Adam you don't have to leave"-Rebel

Adam turned back to look at her.

"I love you...... Bye Rebel"-Adam then left the hospital without his wife.

Rebel stood on her bed hurt and confused. She didn't know what was going on with Adam lately. She did forgive him. So why is he acting so weird. Adam arrived home. Seeing Anna with Jessica.

"Looks who's home"-Anna said to the baby

"Hi baby girl"-Adam said while Anna handed him the baby.

"How's Rebel?"-Anna

"She's okay. The doctor said everything's okay."-Adam

"And why didn't you bring her home"-Anna

"Well the doctors haven't released her yet"-Adam made his way to the kitchen and put the baby in the high chair.

"So why didn't you stay with her"-Anna

"Uh"-Adam

"Adam"-Anna

"I just couldn't stand to see her like that and even worse knowing that I did that to her. I thought she was dead this morning(Adam started to cry). I just keep hurting her. I don't deserve her."-Adam

"What are you saying Adam?"-Anna

"I don't know what I'm saying. I love her so much. But why do I keep hurting her?"-Adam punched a wall.

"Adam calm down. I know and she knows you would never intentionally do anything to harm her. You're a good guy Adam. And Rebel loves you so much"-Anna

"How would you know that?"-Adam

"Because I was the one she came to after every love scene you guys did. Smiling and giggling. She already loved you. But you never showed any interest. So she just gave up. But that day at boot camp. When you comforted her and kissed her she knew you were the one."-Anna

"Really? She told you all that?"-Adam

"Yeah. And you'll be really stupid to let her go"-Anna

"I know. Thank you Anna"-Adam grabbed her hand

"Go get her"-Anna

"Right"-Adam smiled and drove back to the hospital.

When he got there he ran to Rebel's room to find it empty. He then saw the doctor pass by.

"Hey where's my wife?"-Adam

"Oh she was released. And I think she took a cab"-doctor

"She took a cab? Oh my God. Any idea where she went?"-Adam

"She said somewhere to clear her thoughts"-doctor

Adam then felt relief knowing exactly where that was. The beach.

"Thank you"-Adam ran back to his car and drove to the beach.

When he arrived he saw Rebel standing on the sand right in front of the water. He ran to her yelling "Rebel". Rebel heard his voice and turned to watch him run towards her. Adam stopped running.

"Why didn't you call me to come pick you up?"-Adam said while trying to catch his breath.

Rebel stayed silent.

"Rebel?"-Adam

"I don't know why. I just thought that you didn't want this anymore."-Rebel

"Why would you think that? Why would you say that"-Adam

"Well that's how you've been acting towards me lately. I just don't know what you want."-Rebel

"Baby... (Sigh). I will always want you. I  would never want anyone else. I'm sorry if I gave you reasons to think that"-Adam came closer to Rebel and held her hands.

"Are you sure this is what you really want?"-Rebel

Adam let go of her hands and placed his hands on her cheeks. And kissed her slowly and passionately. It lasted a very long time. Adam finally pulled away.

"Does that answer you question?"-Adam

"Not really"-Rebel

Adam smiled and wrapped his hands around her waist.

"Let me try again."-Adam leaned in and kissed her while squeezing her close and tight. Rebel wrapped her arms around his neck. Deepening the kiss. They both pulled away.

"I love you so much"-Adam

"I know you do"-Rebel

Adam hugged her tightly.

"Mmm. I love you too"-Rebel whispered in his ear.

"Let's go home"-Adam grabbed her Hand and led her to the car and drove them home. They came through the front door seeing Anna there.

"Hey"-Rebel

"Thank God you're okay."-Anna came towards her and hugged her tight.

"Thank you so much for helping us out with the baby."-Rebel

"Of course. Anytime"-Anna grabbed her bag and left.

Rebel made her way to the baby's room. And saw her baby waking up.

"Good morning mamas.(Rebel reached down and picked her up). Did you miss your mommy?"-Rebel kissed her baby's cheek and brought her to the bedroom and placed her in her swing. Adam then made his way to the bedroom.

"Hey mamas. Having fun on your swing?"-Adam kissed her cheek and made his way over to Rebel who was laying on the bed. He climbed on top of the bed. And snuggled close to Rebel.

"I missed you so much"-Adam

Rebel kissed his forehead

"I love you"-Rebel

"Always and forever baby"-Adam

Rebel leaned in and kissed his lips. Jessica let out a whine. Rebel and Adam laughed through the kiss and released their lips to look at the baby.

"Jealous. He was mine first"-Rebel laughed.

Adam was mouthing words and making silly faces behind Rebel and the baby started laughing. Rebel caught Adam doing that.

"Hey!"-Rebel

"What I didn't do anything"-Adam

Rebel playfully smacked at his chest he caught her hand and pulled her close and kissed her lips.
