I wake up to hear the annoying sound off my alarm going off. Ugh. I check the time and see that it's 8:00 am. 8:00 am may be a normal time to get up for you. But for me it was the crack of dawn. I was good at a few things but waking up was not one of them. I check my phone for texts and notice a text from Marcus.
M: are you almost at the station?
M: Alf come on!
M: we're gonna miss the train!
A: I'm on my way!
M: Alf I know that's not true! You're in bed aren't you?
A:maybe...
M:well stop texting me and get ready we have 30 minutes till our train too bath!
A: yes sir!
I turn off my phone and eventually drag my self out of bed with a groan. I grab some clothes and hop in the shower. About 5 minutes later I get out the shower put on my clothes blow dry my hair, shave and find a beanie to place on my head. I did all that in 10 minutes wow that's like record time for me! I shout bye to my mum and dad and close the door my overnight suitcase behind me. I wait for the bus for about 2 minutes and 4 stops later I step off the bus I had 10 minutes to buy a ticket and find Marcus. I print off my ticket to bath and text Marcus to find out where he is.
A: I'm at the station where are you?
M: near the platform 16
A: ok see you soon!
I slip my phone back in my pocket and head to platform 16. I stop in a coffee shop and decide to buy me and Marcus some coffees. I continue my walk to platform 16 and notice Marcus standing near a big advertisement board.
"Marcus!" I say handing him his coffee.
"Oh thanks alf! How are you? I haven't seen you in a long time!" He says before taking a sip of the coffee I brought him.
"I'm good mate! And you?" I say smiling
"Awesome! Let's go get to the Second class section of the platform." He says pointing to the second class section.
"Sure" I say starting walk to our section. 5 minutes later the train pulls up to the platform and the doors open. We step on the train and find a two seater. We chat for about 20 minutes but soon we. Both turn on our phones and slip in our head phones.
About 1h40min later the train pulls up to the bath train station and we grab our bags from the overhead storage and step of the train.
"Right, what now?" I ask Marcus looking round at the train station.
"Taxi?" Marcus replies
"Yep!" I reply and we start walking to a taxi rank.

I press the door bell to the Suggs house and immediately the door swings open to see Zoe grinning at us "hi!" Me and Marcus say in unison.
"Hi guys! Come in!" She says standing To the side to let us in. "Joe come help them with their bags" I hear Zoe order at Joe. "Yes sir!" Joe says standing up andsaluting at Zoe.
But after that the rest of the day was a blur.
*after horror film*
"Right well me and Marcus will go to kitchen and tidy up the popcorn alf tidy up the blankets!" Joe says picking up one of the popcorn bowls and heading to the kitchen followed by Marcus carrying two other popcorn bowls. After I tidy up the blankets I decide to carry Zoe to her sleeping bag I tuck her in and hop in the sleeping bag next to her. Zoe got cold very easily so I thought I would keep her warm by wrapping my arm round her waist. It was just friend instinct . Nothing more. But maybe I was lying to myself. I think I was falling for Zoe.
