I didn't want to leave but I had to.

But I didn't want to make a scene.
Her life was already rather dramatic.
I leave obediently blow Zoe a kiss and walk to the entrance of the hospital push open the door and run to my car avoiding the chill November wind.
I drive back to Zoe's house in silence.
I take the keys out my pocket hands shaking with coldness once I'm in joe rushes up to me "IS SHE OKAY?" He shouts "yeah just about" I say closing the door "oh thank god! When is se allowed out?" He questioned gesturing me to sit on the couch "tomorrow morning or evening" I say slumping down on the couch. "Who did it?" Joe asks "they don't know yet they are trying to find evidence. I have to go into an interview in a few days" I reply "oh" Joe says frowning "but....ok" "sorry I can't tell you more. I'm just pretty depressed." I say "no it's not your fault dude we should get some food." Joe says patting me on the back "I guess" I say only realizing how hungry I was now. After diner we both decide to get and early night and as I lie in bed the only thing I can think about is Zoe and who could've done that to her.
