The next day after I had calmed down I went to see Severus, he would know what to do, I walked quickly down to the dungeons, I knocked on the door and he let me in, I explained the situation.
"Well, is there anyone who has been jealous of you recently?" He asked
"Yes, Pansy, Pansy Parkinson"
"I may just have your answer Melissa if you claim that you didn't say that you love Potter..." Severus went to his store cupboard and put a few ingredients on the table
I looked at them and looked totally confused, was he going to make a love potion? No they weren't the right ingredients...
"These Melissa are the ingredients that Miss Parkinson took from my store cupboard the other day, and do you know what two potions these ingredients make?"
"No, not at all"
"They make the mouthing and contort potion"
"What are they?"
"The contort potion is a potion where when the drinker takes it they have control over a victims voice and the mouthing potion is a potion where of the drinker takes this they have control over the victims mouth"
"So you are suggesting that Pansy made these two potions?"
"Yes, she must of asked a teacher to go in the restricted section to find the instructions, and Miss Parkinson isn't thick when it comes to potions like yourself"
"So if it's true, I can explain to Draco, but I doubt if he will believe me, I bet he's never heard of the potions!"
"I will help you, come on lets go find him"

After a while of looking me and Severus found Draco with Pansy in the Transfiguration courtyard, Severus stepped forward.
"MALFOY AND PARKINSON COME HERE NOW!" Snape barked, Draco glared at me and Pansy just gave me a sneer "Melissa here has told me about the situation from yesterday, she claims that she didn't say she loved Potter but Malfoy heard it as she did, earlier that day Miss Parkinson took ingredients from my store cupboard the exact ingredients for a mouthing and contort potion. And I believe she took the potion and the victim was Melissa"
"That's a pack of lies I never..." Pansy began but Severus interrupted her
"SILENCE!" Snape shouted "I know it was you Miss Parkinson because none of the teachers have access to the ingredients, and neither do any of the students, so I think now you owe Melissa an apology"
Pansy was going to argue but she stopped herself
"Sorry" she muttered under her breath
"And now I leave this to you Draco, farewell" and with that Snape marched off
"Well Pansy, you leave me no choice, you are being to jealous, you will just have to accept I have moved on, and Melissa I apologise, I should of known it wasn't you"
"It's ok Draco you are forgiven" I said and gave him a hug, I stuck my tongue out at Pansy and she her mouth hung open, she gave me a look then walked off, then Iet go of Draco.
"Lets go back to the common room, it looks like your getting tired" Draco said grabbing my hand
I yawned and we walked to the common room together
