We finally get to the Pack house and everyone is already there. So much for changing into my best looking outfit. I sighed and got out and everyone came rushing at me and saying hi. "Hey it's so good to finally meet you!" "We are gonna be the best of friends! I can feel it" "Hey can we o out on a date?"
I just smiled and nodded at everyone. Finally we made it into the Pack house and my dad took me to a room that would be mine for now. I stepped inside and looked around. It was huge and it would fit everything of mine in it.
I took a look around and was trying to get a visual on where I was gonna put my stuff. Once I decided where everything was gonna go I started to walk toward the stairs to go to the car. I was half way down the stairs when a really strong scent of woods and peppermint hit me. I wanted to go to the smell but I had to restrain myself because I heard voices and one of them was my dad.
"You have to stay away from her! She has to find her mate, one that can actually run this pack properly." I heard my dad snap. That's when I heard the sexiest sound ever, "Well, Alpha. I think I'm her mate! Ever since I started protecting her I felt something towards her, and I won't be able to tell if we are mates until I see her! Please just give me a chance," the sexy voice said.
"NO! And you will not disobey me, Cooper! Stay away from my daughter! If I ever see you or hear that you were close enough to her to talk to her I'll kill you myself! I know you have to protect her from people who want to kill her and take her away since she's full blooded Alpha," My dad said.
Cooper must have been stunned since he didn't even say anything for a while. "Yo-you mean your wife has alpha blood in her too?" Cooper stammered. "Yes. Her father was the Alpha to the Red Loner Pack. And we combined our two packs and called it Dark Moon Pack," My dad explained.
"Shit! So now since she's been introduced to the pack, their gonna be talking about her and once everyone knows she is full blooded Alpha, they'll be hunting her down fast and want to make her theirs," Cooper growled. My dad growled as well. I shivered and ran back upstairs, my stuff can wait for a few minutes.
I heard the front door shut so I assumed Cooper had left. The next thing I know is that my dad was knocking at my door asking me if I needed help bringing my stuff inside and I said I could handle it.
"Just don't wait till its dark outside to bring it inside," He warned me. "I won't. I'll get iit in a few minutes, after I find out where I want to put it," I lied. "That's my girl! Always thinking ahead of time," He chuckles, and goes back down stairs.
So know I'm a full blooded Alpha and everyone wants me dead or their mate, just great. I went from being a nerdy shy girl who only had one best friend unless you wanted me to do your homework, to everyone wanting me. Great, so I really did become a Pack slut, just not literally.
I walked down stairs since I had an hour before the sun went down, and got my stuff out of the car. I was surprised when everyone wanted to help me take my stuff up to my room. I kept telling them no until this really shy girl stuttered when she asked me if she could help.
Of course I said 'of course' and handed her the lightest things. When we got the last thing out of the trunk, I asked if she just wanted to hang out and talk. She said 'sure' so she talked about how the Pack works and who the biggest player was and who I should stay away from.
Once she ran out of things to say I asked her about Cooper. She looked stunned that I even knew who he was. "I, ummm, don't know him personally but I have heard about him," She whispered lightly. I wanted to know just as much as she did, "Could you tell me what you know about him?" I didn't want to push her but I had to know.
"Well, ummm, I've heard that he hasn't found his mate yet, but he thinks it's someone special. I think he knows who it is but just won't say her name. When all the girls ask him out or if he just wants to hook up, he always says he's taken. So I'm assuming he knows who she is and she is special." She said and looked away.
I was stunned. Why would Cooper say he's taken if he didn't even have or found his mate yet? "Why do you think this girl is special? She could just be a regular wolf or even a human," I said. "I just think if it was a regular wolf he'd have told everyone and if she was a human he'd still show her off to the world. That's just the kind of guy he is. He would want the whole world to know that this girl is taken so stay away from her or else," She giggled. I laughed with her.
"Well who ever she is, she's one lucky girl if he's actually like that. I just wish that my mate will be like that when I find him," I said, softly. "So have you found your mate yet, Velma?" I asked her.
"No, not yet. But I feel like I'm gonna find him soon," She said with hope in her eyes. I knew from that point that I would do everything I could to help her find him.
