Jacksons POV
One of my friends, Steve, told me that he found her. I was so happy for him until he told me that she was with Cooper. Then I realized that he was talking about Raven. He wants me to help him out with it but I'm only doing it for me.
Coopers POV
I can't believe my old best friend would try to get close to my mate. I knew he thought she was hot and deserved to be with him but I never imagined that he'd actually try to take her. Granted he hasn't gotten her yet.
Raven snuggled up closer to my chest. I wrapped my arms around her tighter. I reached down and pulled her into my lap. I bent down and kissed her forehead.
I stood up with her in my arms and walked to my bedroom.
Ravens POV
I wake up from the best sleep I've ever had. I feel a warm, hard body against my back and smile. Cooper. I slowly try to inch toward the edge of the bed but Coopers arm tightens and holds me tightly against him.
"Cooper, I have to get ready for school," I say. He groans. "Cant you miss it. Just the first hour so we can lay here?" "No. I was supposed to be home last night at 10. Remember?" I laugh. He swears and jumps off the mattress, grabbing his pants and a shirt. I get up and do the same.
After we're dressed and walking out the door, I grab his hand and kiss his cheek.
"What about Velma?" I ask. "She's already at school," he says. "Oh." I started to run into the woods but Cooper told me to get in his audi and he'll drive me home to get my stuff.
I hopped in and put my seatbelt on. "You might want to stay clear of my dad today. He's not going to be happy since I spent the night with you," I saif. Cooper laughed. "I know but he's going to have to get used to it since we're mates. But I'll sray clear of him just for you," he winked. I laughed and turned the music on.
Once I got home I ran inside to get changed. "Where have you been?!" Yelled my dad. "Nevermind. I smell him on you. I'm going to kill that boy!" My dad shouts. "No! He's my mate! I have every right to be with him!" I shout. My father looked exhausted. "Fine. You're right but please give me or your mom a call if you aren't going to come home. We were both worried."
"Sorry dad. I will from now on. But I have to leave now in order to make it to school on time," I say picking up my backpack and running out the door. So much for changing clothes.
Cooper looked at me once I reached his car. "Sorry I got you yelled at." I smiled and kissed his cheek, "you didnt get me yelled at, Cooper. My dad just doesn't like it that I didn't tell them I wasn't coming home."
Cooper nodded and turned into the school.
