Mystery POV
Once I saw my 'mate' being picked up from that thing, I wanted to bolt toward them and rip her away. Who does he think he is, picking up my mate as if she was his. I started to walk around people, getting a better view of where he was taking her. He kept looking back at me, must be scared. He takes her into the woods and I follow them. Close but not to close, so I don't startle my mate.
Coopers POV
UGH! He just won't leave! "What are you doing?" yells Raven. "Put me down! I can walk on my own. I'm sorry I jumped in ok. I won't do it again. I promise." I chuckle, "it has nothing ot do with you. I just saw a threat and had to get you to safety. I promised your dad I'd take care of you." she smiled at that. I reached out and wrapped my arms around her. she's just so fragile, I don;t want anything or anyone to hurt my precious mate.
I can still feel his presence. He's just watching us. "why do you look like that? Does your stomach hurt?" Raven asked, looking worried. She worries about me already haha she's gonna be a good mother to our babies. "No just thinking about you. Our future. Stuff like that," I breathed. She smirked, "How do you know I want you in my future? I might just happen to run into a millionaire, who isn't an Omega." I growled at that and she stuck her tongue out. She came over to me and laid her head on my legs.
"You know that I wouldn't really do that to you, right? I was just messin' around. Do you want to be a dad? Cuz I want at least 3 kids," she said softly. I felt my ears turn pink, "I, ummm, want kids to. I'd love to be a dad. umm, just not right now." She laughed. "Of course not right now. My dad would kill me and you if I came home pregnant without dating you for over 2 years."
Ravens POV
I could feel someone elses' presence but just assumed it was from the lake. Even though I know he took me far from the lake as possible. I tried to calm his nerves by making small talk but it didn't work. "I'm getting tired, could you take me to your house? I don't really feel like going home and leaving you at the moment," I stated. I wondered if he even had a house. "I actually live with my best friend, Velma. And I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you came over and napped, in my room," He said with a smirk.
"You live with Velma? she's so nice! You are so lucky to have her as a roommate. If I wanted someone as a roommate it would totally be her." Cooper chuckled, "I thought you were tired. You can't be that tired if you can ramble off things without breathing." I punched him in the arm, "Shut up."
We started walking to Velmas and his house. The presence was still there. I heard a stick break and looked over my shoulder. Cooper was already picking me up and running. "Damn it." I heard Cooper whisper. I looked up and saw a pair of jet black eyes, looking at me. He was so close but far enough away that I couldn't get a good look at his face.
But he looked so familiar. Almost like Paige dated him in the past or something. Oh crap! I forgot to text Paige and tell her whats been happening. I know she'll love that I finally have a boyfriend to talk to her about.
'Stop tinking about this right now! We have a possible threat after us and out mate and you worry about texting your friend!' yelled my wolf. 'Well I'm sorry! I'll try to ignore my head.' She howled at me and stopped talking.
Finally Cooper put me down. I turned around and saw a beat up old, yellow trailer. I looked back at a blushing Cooper. "I know its not a pretty sight on the outside but its home," he said. I hugged him, "It looks beautiful, just like you. And don't be blushing, only girls do that." I laughed and took his hand.
