Ravens POV
Once I stepped out from behind the tree I felt Coopers eyes turn to me, which made me blush and smirk. I couldn't wait for him to meet Paige. And that reminds me that I forgot my phone, again. Paige is gonna blow up from phone since I wont be answering her texts right away.
Oh well. I put that out of my head for now and head over to Cooper. "So, are you done gawking or what?" I teased.
"I wasn't gawking! I was simply staring at your bathing suit," he stammered. I saw a slow blush creep up his neck and chuckled. "Lets go before it starts to gather people."
Without another glance I began to walk into the woods towards the lake. knowing that Cooper was right behind me.
Coopers POV
I couldn't stop staring at her. I know its not polite but I couldn't help it. She didn't help anything when she noticed and pointed it out to me.
Then just turns around and walks away. But I know she's right, the lake will be full of people soon. I followed her and watched her walk. I felt like a pervert for watching her but then I started to get jealous since other boys will be able to see her.
"Hey, Raven...umm...do you have another bathing suit or something you could use to cover up?" I asked, awkwardly. Raven laughed, "I do but I like this one better. Why would you ask that, do you not like it?" she had a very serious face. "No. I love it, but there will be other boys at the lake who will also like it and I just might have to take you home sooner."
She grunted and mumbled, "stupid jealous mates."
Mystery POV
Once Jackson told me about what happened to his 'mate' I knew that I wouldn't have a chance. I told Jackson that I'd help him but I was actually doing this for myself. At first it was for him but now that I know what she looks like, she's gonna be mine. All mine, forever. But first I have to get rid of Cooper and maybe Jackson if he tries to get in my way.
Ravens POV
Once I made it to the lake there was people there, or should I just call them werewolves since that's what they are. I had to tell Paige soon, that she cant come here, I'll have to go to her. But maybe she'll fit in here. In fact she'll fit in better than I do here. But I'll have to keep her away from Cooper so she wont flirt with him and have me say something I'll regret later on.
Coopers POV
I stepped out of the woods behind Raven and saw some other pack members here. A few heads turned to look at Raven which I growled softly. I looked over at Raven and her face was scrunched up like she was thinking about something.
Her face went back to normal and she jumped into the water without a word and I followed, like a lost puppy, and come up right beside her. She laughed at me and splashed water in my face.
I went under the water and pulled her under and kissed her. When we came up for air, she was still wrapped around me, like I was her only way out of the water. She looked even more beautiful with wet hair and her eyes sparkling.
Everything was wonderful until I felt someone staring at us. When I looked over towards the beach, I couldn't believe who I saw. All that I wanted to do was pick up Raven and get her to away from there, to safety.
