Ravens POV
I watched Cooper jump and run into the woods. I wonder why my father didn't want him near me. He's my mate after all. Maybe that's what scares him. That I'll choose to follow my heart instead of what he tells me to do.
I stood there for quite some time because the next thing I know, my dad was standing beside me talking about something.
"Huh?" I said, slowly. Dad chuckled, "I guess Cooper was here. Well before you go ahead and say he's your Mate. I want you to meet someone." He turned around and headed for the door, assuming she'd follow like she always did.
Of course she followed him but she grabbed her phone off the night stand and texted Paige-
Paige! I found The One! I just no it's him
she knew she would have to explain it to Paige but she's still asleep for at least another hour. Plenty of time to make an excuse, thought Raven.
Once they were downstairs she saw this very attractive guy. He had the same dark hair as Cooper, but not as sexy. He had stunning blue eyes, also like Coopers but they didn't appeal to her.
"Raven," Dad cleared his throat, "This is Jackson. Coopers best friend. If you have any questions about Cooper you don't want to ask Cooper himself, you can go to Jack. Or if you ever want to reject Cooper and find a nice young man, such as Jackson."
I could not believed he just said that. "DAD! I WILL NOT REJECT MY MATE FOR SOMEONE LIKE JACKSON!" I snarled. I heard Jackson growl at that.
"You were meant for me! Not Cooper!" Jackson growled.
At moments like this one I question myself at why I follow my dads orders. I know they will get me into trouble. Before I could say anything to him to try to calm him down he turned into a dark brown wolf and ran out the back door into the woods.
"I have to go find Cooper and warn him!" I shouted and turned into my beautiful, Silver with a few black spots, wolf and ran into the woods after Jackson.
Jacksons POV
Who does she think she is? Denying me in front of the Alpha like that. She is hotter than any of the pictures her parents sent me. Now she basically rejected me. I'll get Cooper for this.
