PJ’s POV
We arrived at the hospital the next day at 10:55. I insisted on having my Pokemon blanket with me, it was comforting. I wasn’t feeling any better that morning, I could feel that I was going to be diagnosed with a brain tumour, they’d probably tell me that I was as good as dead. Chris and I were in a private room and he was helping me out of my clothes and into the hospital gown, I also had to wear some weird special fabric shoes made from the same material as the gown. I didn’t mind Chris being there with me whilst I stood there almost completely naked, I knew I was feeling funny things about him, but I couldn’t say anything, I hated how shy I was.
I couldn’t focus on that right now though, my main concern was what the hell is going on with me? Why do I feel so sucky? I had got the gown fully on and I could see tears in Chris’ eyes as he looked into mine.
“Chris, it’s okay. I’m sure everything will be fine” I said, sympathetically.
“But, you still haven’t told me what Deri said. You’ve been acting strangely ever since this morning, why can’t you just tell me what she said?” My heart broke at the sound of Chris’ croaky voice. I wanted so badly to tell him what she had said, but what if this wasn’t a tumour? I didn’t want to worry him over nothing.
“I can’t, Chris. I just can’t.”
“Why not?” He croaked.
“Because it was a serious... Thing that she thinks I might have, and if I tell you and then it turns out not to be that thing then you’ll have just got all worried over nothing, and I don’t want that to happen, please respect that”
“I respect that, I do. I just can’t be anymore worried than I already am”
At that moment the nice nurse called my name and I was ready for my scan.
Author's note: Woah I'm sorry that this chapter is so short :0 I didn't really want to write in the moment when PJ gets his MRI scan because I feel like that might be a bit boring, so in the next chapter I'm just gonna skip to the day he hears his results. I haven't written that chapter yet but I am about to, it should be up soon! ^_^
