New Story!! This is a treat for getting Something Worth Remembering to 95 reads waayy sooner than I expected. Also I am posting this because my update of SWR is going to be later than I had expected due to circumstances out of my control. :)
Anyway, thank you thank you thank you for 95 reads!! Ahhh. So great. Lol I feel like a dork for posting about 95 reads when other have thousands, but hahaha I'm workin on it.
So, disclaimer, this story, as well as my other One Direction fan fics to come in the near future are all going to be intertwined. So yeah, Lauren is Lauren and Elyse is Elyse and Sammy is Sammy and the settings are the same. This starts at the same time that Sammy's does.
And to those just tuning in, my Harry Fan Fic is called "Something Worth Remembering" and it goes along with this one. Though it doesn't matter which one you read first (for now), go ahead and check it out since it's Harry and Sammy's side to all of it. But for now, here you all are and once my new computer is up and fully functioning, I will give to you and SWR update! Yay.

Lauren looked out the window as everything passed by. This was it. She was leaving Texas. She wasn't a kid anymore. It was time to face the real world.
She was currently crammed into a U-Haul with her best friend Elyse as her dad drove them to their new home: Los Angeles, California. Both Lauren and Elyse would continue their studies at the University of California Los Angeles.
It was one of Lauren's dream schools and it still didn't seem real.
It honestly surprised her that she got in and got a scholarship. Lauren wasn't the best student and she would admit that, but she certainly wasn't the worst either. When the reality of having to go to college set in her junior year of high school she tried the best she could to make good grades and pull her GPA up... and it worked! She graduated in the top 25% of her and Elyse's class and, well, here she is now.
Lauren lost all track of where they were, she was pretty sure they were somewhere in Arizona. "Dad where are we?"
"Tucson, Arizona. If you wake Elyse up we can stop for lunch."
"Okay," she turned and looked at her sleeping friend. "Elyse, time to get up." She said sweetly. Elyse didn't budge, but she knew just the trick. "Elyse, Zan Malik is right outside!" Sure enough, it worked. Elyse shot up and looked around.
"Where?!"
"Just kidding." Elyse shot her a glare.
"Not cool, Lauren. How would you feel if I was all like Lauren, Niall is waiting for you."
"You have a point there. But how else was I supposed to wake you up?" Elyse shrugged.
"Where are we?"
"Tucson, Arizona." Elyse nodded. Lauren's dad found a place to park and they got a bite to eat before hitting the road again. It was a long car ride and they still had a ways to go before reaching their hotel for the night, but Lauren knew that in the end it would be worth the twenty plus hour car ride.
After a while of silence she decided to pull out her Ipod and listen to some music. Lauren put the headphones in her ears and pressed play. She closed her eyes and let the five voices of One Direction fill her ears.
That was another thing. She and Elyse were kind of obsessed with One Direction.
Elyse was utterly and completely in love with Zayn. She knew everything about them and that was how she had grown to like them. For her, she liked them because of how intelligent they appeared, Intelligence was a big deal for Elyse.
