Sorry to you all that it has been so long since I last updated. I had just been bombarded with assignments because this is my first big year in high school, 5th form. So, I hope this chapter doesn't disappoint too much because it is mainly a filler chapter because I do not want the story to go too fast :)

Enjoy, Jane xx

Chapter 16 'The Letter'

(Lily's P.O.V.)

I re-read the note for the hundredth time, still not believing that any of this is real, even if all the evidence needed was right here in my hand and a distraught Zayn is pacing back and forth across the lounge, pulling his hair out with worry.

"Will you sit down!" Rose yells at him.

"Sorry! We cant all take things as calmly as you can Rose." He replies with a hint of sarcasm.

"You call this taking it calmly?" She asks in an odd tone, motioning to herself.

I look up from the letter and stare at the usually foxy brunette, who is currently sitting on my couch in sweats, a baggy tee, hair messy whilst eating ice-cream straight from the tub.

"How are you holding up hun?" Romans voice pierces through the racket to me.

"I still can't believe that she is missing."

"She's not missing. Those damn bastards took her from our front door, from right under our noses!" Ross exclaims, heading towards on of the dark moods he has been in a lot lately.

It has been three weeks since Ruby disappeared and Zayn and Ross have been taking it the hardest. Ross being the older brother and Zayn being the overprotective mate.

"Have the search parties found any sign of her yet?" Brock asks Zayn.

You could almost hear a pin drop in the room because everyone had gone silent, awaiting the answer.

"Nothing that is promising. A few false trails, a couple good ones but we can never be too sure but they all lead to dead ends." Zayn says with a sigh filled with pain.

"I wonder what they are doing to her?" Bradly asks the obvious but it doesn't stop us from all glaring at him for bringing it.

"I'm just saying. It's not as if we weren't all thinking it." He says with a slight shrug.

Too true my friend.

"Why are you all moping about?" a high pitched voice asked.

We all groaned, recognizing the voice instantly.

"Well, if you attended pack meetings and listened to something other than the sound of your own voice then you would know that my sister, your Alpha's mate, has been missing for the past few week. But you can't get your head out of your ass can you now." Ross spits, venom lacing his every word to the slut.
