[A/N] Before we start on this story.
Hello guys! I am really excited for this story. It has been stuck in my mind for like nearly 5 years now! ( So I've attempted the task of trying to pour it into here) I've read someone say that "if there has been a story you want to read - but its not written yet, you should write it!" ( its a famous person but I forgot who...:( )
So anyway this is the type of story I've always wanted to read - full of magic, adventure and drool worthy male specimen. :) Hope you enjoy it and please support me! Vote and comment please!!! Do give feedback- I'll be thrilled.
Magic has been my obsession since I was six and Harry Potter is my favourite book ever!!! Or rather, Harry potter isn't a book it's the gospel of truth! I love Loki to death. Just like I heart Draco ..or Tom Riddle....Or Damon Salvatore (maybe not so much)....Or sesshoumaru (Its from a popular manga called Inuyasha)
I like antiheroes so don't be surprised if Loki or Tom Riddle pop in for a visit.
The picture over there is the hero of this story - Fallon Eagus. Is he not swoon worthy?
CHAPTER ONE
Demitytes was an planet without a star. It orbited an small dwarf that gave a weak watery light that did nothing for the ambience or its overall atmosphere. The sky was a dull grey most of the time, turning black only once ever cycle that it's moon - goblin did.
Today the citizens of the planet had gathered under an grim black sky to send off their Prince to Erth on a diplomatic trip to seek an aliance with Erth. There was an somber mood midst the crowd as they stood in the viewing deck of the launch station. Demitytes was waning. The core magic- that kept it alive - was declining. It was exactly to salvage this situtation that their Prince had been forced to seek the help of Erth mage - not just any mage, but a mage who would become their queen and sacrifice herself wholly to Demitytes. Prince Fallon had to scour Erth to find this maiden who would revive their planet within three Goblin Cycles or they could all perish. Blown apart by the supernova that could end their planet.
It was with a heavy heart that the citizens wished their Prince luck. Even the many dissidents had forgone their enmity today and mingled among the crowd. Demitytes was unexpectedly united that day.
In the control chamber of the Space ship Atil, crew members were bent over the control panels and the elementals were busy at work. Prince Fallon and his advisers were reclined on their thrones as they surveyed the scene before them.
Prince Fallon was not happy. His planet, his birthright was falling apart before his eyes. His glorious planet was weak and dying and now he was forced to grovel to some hussy from Erth to come save his planet.
His lip curled the more he thought about it. Erth and Demitytes were sworn enemies and now he had to usher an Erthling onto his throne. How could he ever allow an Erthling to even step onto the land of Demitytes?
Not only that, he had been forced to be unbearably accommodating to their oily ruler, Lord Protector in order to ensure he would not be assaulted upon arrival. Prince Fallon was disgusted, but he brightened up as he recalled the power the Erthling would bring him, once the final stage of rituals to bind her to Demitytes would be over.
He would finally be able to quell all the rebellion and shady dissidence going on and apprehend the traitors. Once all this was over, he would finally be able to reign over his kingdom. He would be king.
Seeing the prince deep in thought
the diplomatic stategist, Natik scowled unpleasantly. He had hoped that the young monarch would be available to discuss a few decrees that he was looking to pass that would add significantly to his coffers. Away from the interfering ministers, he was confident he could persuade the prince to his way. After the young prince, Natik was the one who held the most influence and he certainly did not waste any time eluding the fact. Just as he opened his mouth to rouse the Prince, a voice smoothly cut across Natik.
Tisorne, spoke with ill-disguised merriment in his intelligent eyes "My Prince, I believe Natik has wise words to utter. He wishes to speak with you."
Natik glared at Tisorne. How dare Tisorne make him sound like a fool and a coward scared to talk to the Prince. His underlying barb suggested that Natik was not going to say anything wise and Natik was furious for that. He opened his mouth to argue back.
Tisorne held the post of the military and governmental strategist. It was a well known fact that Tisorne and Natik, who were both uncles to Prince Fallon, could not stand each other. However they and the deputy minister maintaining order back in Demitytes made up the bulk of the government. With a few lesser officers who were mainly decoration, the court of Demitytes ruled with harshness and cruelty.
Amidst the never ending bickering of the lords, Prince Fallon was lost in thought. The light of the chambers that glowed an iridescent blue cast dark shadows across his chiselled face. His grim expression emphasised this and gave an mysterious and frightening aura to his dark brown hair and -currently blue -eyes.
Prince Fallon had presided over Demitytes for a decade, starting from a age of seven after the demise of his father. Left to face the wolves and power hungry vipers alone Fallon had become solitary and cruel. Cunningness and cold bloodness had been bred into his bones from young to ensure his survival in the backstabbing courts of Demitytes.
"Your Highness, the ship has launched out of the stratosphere of Demitytes, we are nearing outer space." The quaking voice of the crew man said as he bent over in respect for the fearsome young prince.
Prince Fallon turned his head slightly towards the crewmember and glanced at him with his cold eyes that had changed colour to reflect his boredom.
"Can I not see that for myself Stratovsky? Do you think I am blind?"
"Or maybe... you like to entertain the idea that I am a fool? " Prince Fallon questioned lazily. Silence settled like an ominous blanket as the unfortunate soul tried to salvage the situation
"NO! Your Highness! I beg of you! I didn't mean any disrespect! !" Stratovsky pleaded desperately, his lips quivering in panic as sweat ran down his face.
The Prince lounged back on his throne that was onset with the jewels of the four elements. He delicately traced the swirling patterns on his armrest as he gazed expressionlessly at the pitiful wreck at his feet.
"And now you dare contradict me...." Prince Fallon left his sentence open with a hiss that echoed through the chambers. Stratovsky gulped frantically at the pronouncement.
Prince Fallon raised his hand at him, his now blood red pupils unblinking. Suddenly Statovsky was surrounded by a circle of fire that began to engulf him. His strangled scream was the last sound to be heard from any of the the crew members as Atil sped towards earth.
