The Threll was alive with the loud cries of the mages and the deep  growls of the Doame. Kashara tugged her arm from Fallon, startled by the noise.

'Oh god! What a wonderful strategy Kashara! Yes. Why don't you stare into the eyes of the evil prince who is hell bent on catching you. I'm sure nothing will happen if you practically lose your senses next to him for what seems like a millennium. Why don't you go snog him while you're at it, if you are going to act like a lovestruck idiot when he barely holds your hand.'   Kashara reproached herself as she regained her senses and looked for a way to flee.

Of course there was none. Fallon had apparently recovered faster than Kashara - probably due to the lack of a dramatic self reproachful monologue - and was now alertly watching Kashara like a hawk did its prey.

Kashara nervously gulped. It was obvious she wasn't a match for Fallon who had been trained in many styles of fighting since young. Therefore, she had to think of a way to trick him. The growls of the Doame gave her the perfect idea.

She had to cast a duplication charm. To make a fake Doame. She quickly brought her hands together in an attempt to cast the spell.

However Fallon saw her about to spell and shot a spark of lightning in between her hands. Kashara swore loudly as she had to abandon her spell and dodge. Tumbling around the dirt Kashara spat out her hair that had got caught in her mouth and pulled herself into a crouch.

She knew she had to distract Fallon before she could attempt a very lengthy charm like the duplication charm. She rapidly cast a fog charm and a freezing charm at Fallon. Fallon was able to dodge the freezing charm - prompting a few choice words from Kashara at where he could stick his inhumane reflexes. However fortunately the fog charm wasn't avoidable and soon engulfed him.

Kashara let out a breath and swiftly cast the duplication charm. A huge hulking beast, a passable copy of the Doame materialised behind Fallon. The Prince who was trying to light his way through the fog froze when the growl of the beast sounded behind him.

He whirled around in the direction of the noise and tried to make out the beast. The huge beast slowly hulked toward Fallon, its eyes piercing through the fog.

The prince appraised the huge beast for the first time. A ball of fire burned at his hand readily. The beast and Fallon circled each other.

Meanwhile Kashara had been quite transfixed with what was happening. She suddenly realised that she had to escape while he was distracted.

The beast pounced suddenly at Fallon, a bright flare of fire interceding it in mid leap. Kashara began slinking away behind Fallon anticipating full fledged fighting to break out. However loud squealing and whimpering reached her ears.

Unbelievable. The beast was cowering away from Fallon who was using the foggy air like a whip. Why the heck was a nine feet monster cowering from a human. Kashara was convinced there was something wrong with her spellwork.

It was just her luck, which seemed rotten currently. The actual Doame didn't seem to be that much of a coward. She shook her head and continued her retreated before Fallon turned against her. It was too late.

Flames. Towering white hot flames surrounded her out of the blue. " I believe we were in the middle of something." A silky voice called out to her. Kashara froze. Unbelievable. The universe just hated her, didn't it.

Kashara turned to face Fallon who was smirking in that annoying way of his. "I should have known that cowardly thing was your creation. How many times have I seen your back now? "

"I should have known you have a lack of mental capacity. How many times have I said I don't like you, you ugly prat."

Fallon's expression soured. He took two long strides toward Kashara and grasped her forearm.

"Too bad, I don't give a damn what you think." With that Fallon clicked his fingers. The flames surrounding them began to close in rapidly. The heart of the flames, like an inferno.

Closer and closer, until the flames were barely touching her skin. Scalding it with the lightest contact. Then the flames completely engulfed Kashara. For a second, all Kashara could feel was complete pain and darkness.

Then she was back. She looked around frantically, and realised that she was in the Demitytan space ship Atil she had been in before. She vaguely registered the fact that Fallon was holding her tightly. It was just her luck the demitytans traveled through some weird form of fire magic.

It had been excruciatingly painful - for her atleast, Fallon seemed unperturbed and about as disheveled as a cat after grooming time. However the fire seemed not to have actually hurt her. Such a powerful illusion. Why the heck was her spellwork so bad? Even the Doame copy turned out to be a freaking coward.

The universe had to just hate her, or this whole fiasco had to be some sort of cosmic joke.

"Kashara the Erthling comedy. Now in planets near you. Don't miss this cosmic spectacle" Apparently there had to be some sort of sign floating above her head because she was so screwed now. So Kashara did the wisest thing and winked out of consciousness into sleep.
