Pregnant women are hostile.

Riley's POV
I sat on the hospital bed, slamming my feet to the metal. I didn't tell Lucas about the chance of me be being pregnant. My instincts said that if I'm not pregnant, I wouldn't have to tell Lucas. I mean, that night I slept with Lucas, we were using condoms. Right? I was honestly so drunk on wine, I don't remember.
Dr. Nelson came in with a folder filled with multicolored papers. He looked extremely tired, and I know his pain. When your a bestselling author or doctor, you get worn out easily. At least Lucas's job keeps him awake.
"Riley, these are the results of the pregnancy test. Before I give them to you," Dr. Nelson took of his glasses, "Do you know how a condom works?" I grabbed the papers, "I took health."
I quickly read the papers and apparently I am a little hostile, according to Dr. Nelson's notes. "I'm not hostile, I'm cautious about the subspecies of men and boys," I retorted.
I read a passage in the blue paper, 'Riley Lynn Matthews Pregnancy Test Results. Riley's test came out to be a +. + = pregnant and - = not pregnant.' "Wow. I have a person in my stomach," I said, rubbing my belly. "Well birsasac is a bit more accurate," Dr. Nelson replied. My eyes glared at him, "Do you really want to argue with the 'hostile' pregnant girl?"
When I got home, I was forced to tell Lucas the truth. I lit candles that smell like roses and played romantic music. Roses were placed on the ground, and all around the kitchen. There was lasagna and water with olives in wine glasses. Lucas came home and whistled, and kissed me, "All of this for me?"
We ate our lasagna and drank the water, and I breathed. "Lucas, I have something to tell you," I said, fiddling with my fingers. "Shot," he said, biting into his food. "I am pregnant," I started sobbing on the table. He came over and comforted me, "Hey, hey. Its ok."
"Why aren't you leaving me?" I asked, crying. "What?" he asked, looking at me. "Nobody wants to marry a pregnant girl," I sobbed. He lifted my cheek, and wiped my tears off, "What part of death do us part so you not understand?" I smiled and we kissed, passionately. "What are we going to do?" I sniffled. Lucas sighed, "Push forward the wedding. I'm sure that they will understand. We don't want your water breaking halfway through the ceremony. Now don't we?"
Maya's POV
My phone vibrated in my hand. Farkle was at work, and Ashley Mae was finally asleep. For a two weeks old, she was strangly quiet. I took it out to see that Riley was texting me. Maya, bring Farkle and Ashley Mae to my house. Call my parents, Auggie, Ava, your parents, Eric, and Uncle Josh. Love you. -Riley.
I shivered, I haven't talked to Josh since he broke my heart at twelve. The memories came back, ' "Josh, you know I love you," I had said. He had sighed, "Maya, for the last time. I am three years older than you. So, don't ever tell me you love me again!" '
The only thing I could do after that encounter was cry. That's all I remember doing. When someone spits and screams in your face, you most likely cry or slap them. I imagined slapping him, but I only cried.
I called everyone, including Josh, and drove myself, Farkle, and Ashley Mae to Riley's house. Josh's car parked two streets back. He stepped out of his car, and there was a girl with him. She had brown hair and brown eyes. Her shirt was pink and her pants were purple. She had a navy blue bag with white dots. Missy Bradford. And they were wearing matching rings.
With Ashley Mae in her stroller, I crossed the street. Josh looked at me, "Hey, Maya. Who is this little baby?" I slapped him, "What hell were you thinking about when you proposed to Riley's old kidnapper!" He pushed me, lightly, "Chill out, Maya. I was her old correctional officer, she's fine." I glared at him, "She had a correctional officer for a reason. That little bitch is a psychopath!" She smiled, "Nice to you too, Maya."
Josh chuckled, "Would you relax! We are perfect for each other." I scoffed, "Yeah, I guess you are. But what happened to the 'three age gap.' I guess you forgot that when you're staring at her butt. Next time, before you marry a psychopath. Look at her records and not her ass!" I slapped him again, and crossed the street.
The door to Riley's house was open, so we went inside. Riley had set up some bubbly water and crackers for us. I handed Ashley Mae to Topanga, who fed her milk.
Auggie's POV
I was siting at Riley's house, eating a cracker. Ava and I are thirteen years going strong. I remember when I was five, I got married to her. "Let me be the first to introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Auggie Doggie Matthews," my father had joked. I giggled at the memory. The girl who is supposedly my wife, is laying on my shoulders. I smiled and we pecked.
Riley's POV
"Everyone I have news. Good and sort of bad. The news is that the wedding is getting pushed to October 22nd. The sort of bad news is why. I am pregnant," I said. Everyone stopped talking. Everything and everyone stopped. I could even hear the neighbors from the next couple houses snoring.
"What the what?!" Markle yelled. "Everyone calm down, it's for Lucas," I breathed. I heard multiple sighs of relief, but not enough. Ashley Mae might be the calmest person in the room. And she is a two week old baby who only cries.
"So, how we gonna to do this?" Maya asked. I hesitated, "A two-in-one bridal/baby shower?" Everyone started to laugh, and I joined them. It was nice to think that we can all move past this. Maybe this won't be so bad.
