5 Weeks Later

Riley and Lucas has finally made up. We are all back at the house eating dinner which was chicken noodle soup. Maya's dad hasn't caused any trouble lately. Lucas and Riley are still deciding whether or not to go to Missy's funeral. Maya and I aren't going because there's a chance Charlie and her father could be there. With Maya still recovering from the bullet, she doesn't need anymore stress.

Jonathan, AM, the twins, and the sextuplets are curled up in the mat. Jonathan and Logan are really close to each other, like super close. I don't like the idea of Lucas giving my kid the death glare. Maya walks by my side, "Love you."

I smile, "Love you, too."

Twelve Years Later

"Mom!" Logan yelled. I sighed and walks up the stairs. Brooklyn, AM, Madalyn, Madison, and Kelsey are all ganging up on Logan.

"Hey! Break it up! What's going on?" I cried. Everyone stepped back, and AM pushed Logan foward.

"They want me to wear a dress.." Logan huffed. I chuckled. Logan had grown up to be such a tomboy while all the others were girly girls.

"Guys, let Logan wear what she wants," I say.

"But Mom! She wants to wear a sweater with jeans and Combats! On the first day! That's for like the eight week," Brooklyn exclaims.

I shrug, "It is Pennsylvania. And if that's what Logan wants to wear, she can wear it. Now hurry up. The boys have done your chores and have made it to the breakfast table. Its pancake day." The girls run out the door, they all love pancake day.

I shield Logan, "Wait here, miss."

She stares at me and sits on the bed. I sit by her, "Have you told Jonathan yet?"

She looks at me, "No. He's my best friend, it's awkward if I tell him. He probably doesn't like me back. Everyone already thinks I'm awkward."

I sigh, "I was called that in school, too. I'm still awkward. Enjoy yourself, Log. Don't let anyone define you. Now, go eat. Jonathan probably saved you some."

She smiled and ran down the stairs. I was right, Jonathan had left two pancakes left for Logan. His green eyes twinkled at her, "Hey Log."

Logan blushed, "Sup Jon." They sat next to each other. Peter, Thomas, Devon, Jonathan, Logan, Farkle, and Lucas were talking about upcoming football season. Everyone else started talking about boys, dances, and schoolwork. Then Maya came with the van and the girls went in. The boys got on their bikes, and Logan got on Jonathan's. They rode down the hill and to school. I kissed Lucas.

I love my family and we were finally safe.
