The first thing I noticed about her was the silver hair, and brilliant silver eyes. The second was the dark circles under her eyes. It looks like she hasn't slept for a week.

"Oh my gods, Adam, you're OK!" She threw her arms around me in a tight squeeze.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Trying to save you of course!" She grabbed my wrist, "Come on let's go!"

I escaped her grip, "Autumn, I saw you with the Overlord. Please tell me what's going on."

She sighed, "OK you got me. I'm with Uruboros because he tried to protect my mother from the god's wrath." Her anxious expression turned to one that appeared to be fighting tears. "My mom meant everything to me, and when she died, Uruboros took me in." She pulled out a remote, and pressed a red button. "I'm sorry Adam." She started crying

"For what?" I asked.

My question, however was, in vain, because I discovered the answer upon hearing several footsteps on the stairs. I turned around, and found myself face to face with none other than Hugh.

He thrust the butt of his sword into my stomach and I fell backward, suddenly unable to breathe. "That's for earlier." He proclaimed, with a huge smirk on his face.

My senses went ballistic, and I think he said something else, but I couldn't tell what it was. Something hard hit me in the head, and I was no longer conscious.
