A little twang

Beaus pov

Jasper and i are on our way to my house. We are going to announce the news to Charlie and Bella.

We pull up onto the drive way and hop out. Charlie's cruiser isn't here yet, only Bella's hot pink Bugatti. We made our way into the house and found Bella in the kitchen.

"Hey sis, jasper" she greeted us.

"Hey" i said.

"Hello, Bella" jasper said with his southern twang oozing out.

"Whats up?" She asked.

"We'll tell ya in a sec, not until charlie gets home" i answered.

"Ok, well i don't know how long he's going to be" Bella said.

"He will be here in 3..2..1" just as i said that his cruiser came pulling up on the driveway.

He walked through the door, hung up his belt and took off his shoes. He came walking around the corner, and when he saw jasper and i his eyes lit up. He is quiet fond of jasper, more so then Edward. And since i moved in with jasper and his family about three weeks ago, charlie hadn't seen me much.

"Hey kids. What brought you here?" He asked.

"Well jasper and i have something to announce" i said.

I looked over to my mate and he gave me a nod.

"We're getting married!" I squealed. Jasper chuckled.

"OMG! Beau! Congratulations I'm so happy for you!" Bella squealed, while hopping out of her chair to give me a hug.

"Good on ya kiddo. Im really happy for you" charlie said with a smile.

"Thanks, dad" i said. His smile grew bigger. I barely call him dad but when i do he loves it.

At that very moment Kristy came walking through the door.

"Mum!" I yelled.

"Beau!" She said giving me a hug.

Jasper came up beside me a put his arm around my waist once kristy let go. She eyed him curiously as i went on to explain.

"Mum, this is my fiancé, jasper Whitlock" i said smiling genuinely up at my mate.

"Well its mighty fine ta meet ya, sir" kristy said in her southern accent. She knew who this was.

"As it is to meet ya self, ma'am" he replied with his southern twang. Know one really knew but kristy and i have southern accents too. We just don't use them, to keep up our appearances. So when kristy used her accent, charlie looked at her curiously.

"Ok dad the truth is mum and i are from Texas too. We just don't use our accents much, but sometimes they just slip out" i explained to him. He nodded in understanding.

"Well i happen to like your accent" he said.

Our accents aren't strong, strong they are just strong. They are not as strong as jaspers can be.
