"Mom?" I asked running up to her and hugging her. "I'm so proud of you Lyric!" She said as I felt a tear hit my shoulder. "I'm sorry." I said feeling so guilty for everything. We finished our long hug and I could see Michael smiling at me. I realized I had never even met any of the boys moms, but only heard so many stories about them. I walked over to Mikey and his mom. "Hi Karen! I'm Lyric, it's a pleasure to meet you." I said hugging her. "I've heard a lot about you Lyric." She said smiling. Luke got everyone's attention. "Hey moms this is Lyric. I know you've all heard of her." He said laughing. "Hi! It's nice to meet all of you." I said smiling. "How about we all eat at my house tomorrow for dinner?" I heard someone say. I turned around to realize out of all the moms it was mine. I had just talked to her for the first time in four years and she was already inviting everyone and there families to my house tomorrow. "That sounds great!" Liz said as everyone nodded in agreement. "Tomorrow at 6?" Mom asked. Everyone said yes as we continued outside the airport. It was around 9 at night and there were hundreds of girls standing outside. We walked through the crowd and got to our cars. "Well this is goodbye for the first time in a year." Calum said sadly. "Dude we're all coming to my house tomorrow." I said. "Oh yeah." He said quietly realizing what he said was dumb. "Goodnight love." I said kissing Michael. It has been part of my night routine for 365 days. "I love you." He said. "Goodnight babes." I said to all the boys and getting in the car with my mom.
We got home around 10:30. "I always knew you would make it big." Mom said sipping her hot chocolate. We were sitting on the couch drinking hot chocolate and just talking. "It's been incredible. I can't wait for you to meet Michael. He's perfect. You know today's our three year anniversary." I said nudging her arm. "Aw that's so cute! Do you think he's the one?" Mom asked ready to hear the answer. "What do you mean the one?" I asked. "You know the one you'll get married to and spend the rest of your life with." She said like I should've known that. I thought about it for a minute. "Yeah, yeah I think he could be the one." I said smiling. "Well mom I missed you a lot and I'm sorry for everything I've done. I better bring these things up to my room." I said glancing over at the two huge suitcases sitting at the front door. "Goodnight baby." She said smiling. I drug the suitcases up the spiral stairs. I walked into my room to notice it was exactly like it was the night I ran away. I expected it to be another spare bedroom or something, but it wasn't. I set the suitcases down and flopped on my bed. I missed my big white bed. I missed my mom and my room. I was too tired to unpack so I just fell asleep. Thankful for my boys, the tour, and mostly my mom.

I woke up at 2 in the afternoon. I jumped up and new today was going to be great! I ran down the steps and poked my head in the kitchen and the smell of chicken punched me in the face. "Oh good morning Lyric." Mom said stirring a pot of something. "What's so good about it?" I said in a grumpy voice. "Jk! I'm so happy right now, but seriously I hope you're cooking something other than chicken because you know I'm vegan." I said said sitting in the bar stool in front of mom. "I know honey. I'm fixing pasta, potatoes, corn, seriously everything and your favorite, red velvet cake!" She said excitedly. "Yes! I love you! I'm going to get ready." I said running up stairs.
I took a shower, blow dried my hair and loosely curled it, did my make up, and got dressed. I wore my really holy black jeans and a white crop tank top. After the two hours that took it was 4 and I called Michael. "Hey love. You can come over now if you want." I said. "I'll be over in like 15." He said hanging up. I walked downstairs. "Need any help?" I asked mom. "No honey. I got it, but thank you." She said running around the kitchen. I heard the doorbell ring and ran to the door. I had so much energy. I opened the door to a newly blonde headed Michael. "Well hello Ms. Johnson." He said leaning against the side of the door frame. "Hello Mr. Clifford. I like the new hair." I said as he walked in the door. "Thanks." He said heading straight towards my mom. "Hey Mrs. Johnson. Do you need help with anything?" He asked. "No honey I think I'm good, but thank you." She said pulling a cake out of the oven.
Time flew by and before long everyone was in my dining room. I loved all the boys families just as much as I loved them and all our moms just instantly connected. I knew we would be doing this a lot from now on. Ashton's little brother Harry was such a cutie I just instantly fell in love with the kid and Calum's sister was my new best friend. We ate and while our moms cleaned up the kitchen the rest of us made a campfire outside and sang. The guys had there guitars which was perfect.
We sang for a while, but then Michael stood up. "I have been keeping this a secret for a few weeks and now is the time I tell you guys." He said suspenseful and paused. "Well tell us!" Luke yelled. "Since yesterday was mine and Lyrics three year anniversary I decided to take her to Disney World, but not only her. We're bringing the band too since we never got to go two years ago when we planned it!" He said smiling. "Oh. My. God." I said pausing between each word. I jumped up out of my seat and hugged him. "When are we going mate?" Ashton asked excitedly. "Two days so get packing." He said. And for the rest of night we sat by the campfire singing. It was absolutely perfect.
