As we pulled up to the school Tiffany and her sister, Jade, were pulling up in a Jeep with their boyfriends. I rolled my eyes and sighed. Apparently, it wasn't hard to guess why I sighed. KC got out of the car and slowly approached the passenger side of the door. Tiffany and Jade, as well as their football playing boyfriends, watched in awe as KC opened my door and helped me out.

"Why is he with her?" Tiffany muttered under her breath to Jade.

Thanks to my awesome hearing I was able to listen to the whole conversation. I smiled at him and whispered "stupid move" to KC. He, slowly, gave me a kiss on the cheek. I turned away from him and Tiffany and Jade were coming in our direction.

"Don't be mean and don't say a word." I whispered

Tiffany and Jade walked up to KC in their purple stilettos. Tiffany shimmied her shoulder so that her right sleeve fell down her arm and exposed her lacy bra. I gritted my teeth. These spoiled little brats were NOT hitting on my boyfriend! I tried to control my emotions, but it was hard.

"Let me guess. Charity case?" Tiffany said twisting her, unnatural, blond hair.

KC shook his head no.

"Wait! You are really going out with her?" Jade asked him as she pointed her finger at me.

Kc shook his head yes.

"WHY?" They said simultaneously

"Jealous much?" I asked.

"Me jealous? Ha! You hav eto be kidding!" Tiffany shouted.

"I'm jealous!" Jade shouted.

No offense to Jade, but she wasn't that smart. In her family the blonds were smart and the brunettes were stupid. Jade was actually nice, but a while ago Tiffany tricked her into being mean to people. Tiffany told her that being mean made you popular.

"You are so stupid!" Tiffany shouted at Jade.

I laughed a little and then Tiffany dragged her sister by the hair into the cafeteria. KC took a step foward to help Jade, but I held up my hand cautioning him not to. Not that I wanted her to get hurt, but because Tiffany would get in trouble with her dad... the cop. Her mom was the super intendent, so no matter how horribly they did in school they will have straight A's. I gave KC a hug goodbye and headed toward the cafeteria. As I walked into the cafeteria everybody's head turned. In high school, as well as middle school, it didn't take long for rumors, true and false, to spread around. Some girls were jealous and some were in shock that someone would date me... willingly. A familiar girl looked at me suspiciously. She approached me and put her hand on my back leading me to the courtyard.  As we walked out of the cafeteria I grabbed her arm and threw it down at her side. Maybe a little too hard for a human.

"I know what's going on Stella!" As I looked closely at her face I realized it was Alyssa.

Alyssa was blond last week and now her hair was black with a blue streak. Her face was usually covered in make up and now it was covered in scars. What happened?!

"What happened to you?!" I shouted.
