Ch 15
Dakota’s POV
It had been a while since I had gotten drunk, and yet I didn’t even care. All six of us had eaten at a super delicious restaurant, and I wanted to have some fun. Vic told me that he had a feeling that we were going to be wasted by the end of the night, and the way things were going, I agreed.
The second I walked into the apartment, Mike and Vic started setting up beer pong. I wasn’t surprised at all. Vic and I were on one team, and Mike ended up begging Tony to be on his. We won the first round, resulting in a drunk Tony, but Mike was holding up. Tony demanded a rematch, and he got one. They won the second game, then Tony ran out of the apartment.
“TO NARNIAAA!” he shouted, slamming the door behind him.
I giggled and crawled up on top of Vic. “You have... funny hair,” I slurred, playing with his curls. I was starting to feel the alcohol taking over.
Vic laughed, clearly amused. I don’t think he was as drunk as I was, but we were both pretty hammered. “Yeah well... you have weird earlobes,” he said, flapping my earlobe back and forth.
I laughed and playfully hit him on the chest. He grunted, making me laugh even harder. I heard the apartment door open and close behind me, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. Vic and I continued giggling at nonsense until we heard a crash. I looked up to see Mike walk out of his bedroom without any pants on and a confused look on his face.
“Mikey, what are you doing?” Vic said in an almost whiney tone.
“I lost my pants!” He said frantically, looking behind a pillow.
“Well, I guess they’re gone forever,” I told him.
“Nooo you guys help me look!” Mike said, stomping his foot like a child.
I got up off of Vic and ran into Jaime’s room. I opened up his drawers one by one, dumping all of his clothes out in the process. Mike’s pants weren’t in there. I continued on to his closet, shoving all of the hangars to one side, and knocking a few down in the process. No pants in there. I walked over to his bed and threw back the covers onto the floor. I looked under the pillows and under the bed, and still no pants.
I went into the bathroom that connected Jaime’s and Tony’s rooms. I looked under the sinks and only found towels. I moved on to Tony’s room, and there was something sitting on his dresser. I walked over and found a pair of blue goggles, then immediately put them on. Everything was suddenly blue.
“You guys need to check this out!!” I yelled, running back into the lounge.
“Is it a cup holder!?” Vic asked eagerly.
“No, it’s better! It’s like.. swimming in the sea!” I said, imitating the fish from Finding Nemo.
“No way let me try!” Vic said, pulling the goggles off of my head.
“Guys I need my pants!” Mike yelled from his room.
“No you don’t!” I yelled back, walking into Vic’s room. I opened up one of his drawers, just out of curiosity. I was about to close it, when something yellow caught my eye. I opened up the drawer a little more to reveal a Pikachu hat sitting in the corner, slightly buried under a shirt. I pulled it out.
“Victor!” I called out, even though I was walking towards him.
“What?” he asked with his back turned to me.
“I need you to put this on right now,” I demanded of him.
“Um,” was all he said as he turned around.
