A tickling on your neck awakens you from your sleep, a soft whine leaving your lips as you stretch your arms up above your head.
A giggle leaves your lips as the tickling continues, accompanied by the sound of purring. You open your eyes and smile as Phil continues to burry his head into the crook of your neck, his furry ears running along your skin.
You run your fingers through his dark hair, making his purrs come out louder.
A mew coming from near the bed catches your attention, and you look across to see the end of a tail up in the air. You slide your body across the mattress and look down to the floor where Dan is lay, face down with his tail in the air.
"Aww, what's wrong Dan?" You ask him, his fluffy ear twitching being the only reply you get.
"Not gonna talk?" You say, and he mews softly confirming your assumption.
"Okay, well I'm hungry so let's get breakfast" you hop out of bed, kneeling on the floor and kissing the top of Dans head before exiting the room. Leaving Dan purring from the affection.
You begin preparing three bowls of cereal when Dan and Phil enter the room. You turn around to find Dan fiddling with his tail still with a grumpy face where as Phil is contently sitting at the table waiting for you.
None of you had plans for the day, therefore you remained in your pyjamas and set up a movie on the TV.
Only 2 hours later you had Dans head in your lap, purring happily and Phil resting with his head on your shoulder, once again his fluffy ears tickling you, but you would want it any other way.
