Could you write a Dan imagine where the reader and him have been dating for around 3 years, and recently Dan is at the peak of his youtube career, and the reader is at the peak of hers so they're always busy editing and taking conference calls. And they don't really have time for anything but a kiss goodnight, and it's kinda frustrating to Dan. So one night Dan tries to be intimate with her but she kinda says no and Dan gets upset and tells her how he misses her and stuff? SUPER LONG SRRY

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Every single day was meeting after meeting or one conference call followed by another.
Today had been a particularly exhausting day, all you wanted to do was go to bed and have a long over due rest. Was that going to happen? Of course not, because you had promised your viewers a new video which you hadn't started editing.
You prepare yourself a drink before heading to the study and starting up your editing program.
You were about 30 minutes into editing when you heard the front door open and shut, informing you that Dan was home. Dan, much like yourself, was always busy working. whether he was writing a book, making videos, working on the radio, interviewing or being interviewed himself.
"Hey sweetheart" Dan says, popping his head into the doorway as he passes by.
"Hi babe" you reply before getting back into work.
You hear the shower and soon Dan is singing to himself, bringing a smile to your face for the first time today. You look to the clock on the wall that reads 8:40. You promised your viewers a video by 10pm, so you quickly get into work once again.
"Come watch a movie with me sweetheart" Dan's voice comes from behind you making you jump slightly. Half an hour had passed so quickly, yet you still had more work to do on the video.
"Maybe later.." You mumble, not moving your tired eyes from the glowing screen.
"But I wanted to watch now then-"
"I need to finish this Dan" You cut him off. You didn't mean to come across as rude or grumpy, it was simply the stress getting to you.
"Maybe one day you'll leave this fucking room and spen..." Dans voice fades away as he heads down the stairs. He was groaning to himself, and you assumed it was simply because he was also worn out.
An exaggerated sigh leaves your lips as the video is finally uploaded, and just in time too. You finally stand from the almost painful position in the office chair and walk to the bathroom where you shower, brush your teeth and ready yourself for bed. Oh bed... How much you love the bed.
You walk into your bedroom to find Dan, sitting up against the head board as he scrolls endlessly through tumblr. You lift the duvet and climb into your side, kissing Dan on the cheek.
"Goodnight" You say to Dan who is shutting his laptop and laying down also.
As soon as you turn your back to him, his arms are wrapped around your body, tracing shapes onto your skin. You almost shiver as Dan's plump lips attach to your neck and his hands wonder higher up on your thighs. Of course this would normally turn you on, but tonight you were just so exhausted.
You take Dans hands in your own and move them away, shuffling away slightly so that he knows you're not in the mood. You assume he gets the point as he stops his actions and lays onto his back. silence takes over the room and your eyes slowly begin to shut, but they fly open as a sobbing sound escapes Dan's lips. You quickly roll over, switching on a lamp in the process. There Dan is with his face in his hands as he tries to hide the tears.
"Dan! Baby whats wrong?" you question, panic clear in your voice. You reach up and remove his hands from his face.
"shh, baby please tell me whats wrong" you beg him as you rest your hand on his cheek.
"I don't want to lose you" Dan says, and his words honestly shock you.
"What are you talking about Dan?"
"Work is pulling us apart... We hardly talk and all I want is to cuddle and kiss you and listen to you speaking and... We've been together for 3 years Y/n. I'm so in love with you and I can't lose you now" Dans stuttered words broke your heart. He was right though, you hadn't been spending time together at all recently except for a goodnight kiss before bed.
"You aren't going to lose me Dan. I love you too, so so much. I'm really sorry about all of this, we've both just bee so busy with work and I've been so tired..." You explain
"I know you've been tired... I'm sorry. I just miss you and it's really hard." Dan's words aren't all that clear, but you know what he means. Thankfully his tears have stopped and he is now looking you in the eyes.
"I have an idea... What about we make some sort of work curfew. Like we have to stop at 7 so that we can spend evenings together?" The idea may seem silly, but you both really needed it.
"Can we have a date night too?" Dan questions with a little smile in his lips. You can't help but giggle at his cuteness.
"Of course" you reply.
Dan takes your face in his hands and places his lips onto yours in a slow and affectionate kiss.
"Thank-you Y/n. Lets get some sleep sweetheart" Dan whispers as you pull apart. As you lay back down, Dan makes sure to hold you close. You fall asleep with a smile on your face while Dan excitedly plans the nights ahead of you.
