EDITED c: (sorta)

Hey guys! <3 I am really enjoying writing this for you.

Darcy's POV (point of view)

I watched Captain America with Sage, contemplating what was going on.

Okay, so, let's decide if this was a good idea to start with.

1. I found her as a horrifically shredded corpse.

2. She came back to life before my eyes. Rather grotesquely, mind you.

3. I gave her my coat and socks, and asked her to come to my brothers house with me. Where I'm staying.

4. She said a rather disturbing thing to me, implying anyone else would have left her there. Which may or may not be her way of saying I messed up and she's going to kill me or something.

5. She claims to have never heard of the two most common foods ever.

Was this really a good idea? Probably not. At all.

However, my idiotically kind personality is forcing me to offer shelter and friendship to a possible murderer.

What's wrong with me?

And now I'm watching a movie with her.

I think about these things, but as I look over at her, staring with her wide, beautifully golden, amber eyes at the tv, blanket wrapped around her frighteningly thin body, all those thoughts slowly leave me. Her situation must be horrible. She looks so innocent as she sits there, yet recent events say she shouldn't be. She stared in awe at the tv, as if she has never seen a movie in her entire life.

Well, considering she says she didn't know what pizza was, that wouldn't be a shocker.

The movie was getting to the part where Steve gets into the machine and becomes strong and stuff, when Sage started looking a bit uncomfortable and disturbed.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. She looked at me for a moment.

"Nothing." She mumbled, and looked back at the TV. As captain America started to express his agony, Sage looked even more uncomfortable than before. Almost scared.

"Don't worry about it. He'll be fine." I tried reassuring her. She gave me a appreciative glance, and continued to watch in silence. After that part was over, she relaxed noticeably. But she frowned when he stepped out strong and tall.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"It's just...that's not realistic. There's no way they could enhance his muscle tone and height in that amount of time, let alone with simple injections." She said quietly. I frowned. "I mean, it would take months, maybe years to get that amount of change. And it would take multiple operations, injections, a stable diet, and just the right amount of physical activity. Even then, changing the height would be very unlikely. A huge bargain financially." She said, and abruptly stopped herself from saying more. I haven't heard her say so much since I found her. And, when she said it like that, she had a valid point.

I scratched the back of my neck. "Well, you're right, but it's just supposed to be entertainment. They probably weren't thinking about it actually being possible. But I do agree with you on that one." I told her honestly. She looked at me for a moment.

"Okay." She said softly. Ah, back to short sentences.

We continued watching the movie, till my eyes slowly closed, and I drifted to sleep.
