Chapter 3

School was finally over and I start to walk home until I met up with Camille, "Hey! Are you just about to leave," she asked. "Yeah, I was on my way to the gate, how about you are you walking or.."
"Yeah I'm walking, hey lets walk home together my house isn't far from here either," she said.
"Sure," I replied. As we walked towards the gate I saw...Kai! And his other friends walking out the gate.
"Um..is something wrong.," asked Camille. "Huh..oh! No it's nothing, lets go.."
We walked out the gate and saw one of the guys left by car I believed his name is Byron if I recalled, anyways what's so nerve racking is that he's heading the same direction we're going.
"Oh it's those guys, want to say hi," asked Camille. "Uh..no lets just walk," I said nervously.
"Hm..alright but I doubt they will be silent forever they'll tell that we're walking behind him then that guy Joey will say I'm stalking him which I'm totally not doing," she said annoyed. "Um..."
"Huh oh sorry about that I'm just always irritated at him for some reason, don't know why."
"No it's fine it's just we barely met I don't want to get too friendly with them especially him...," I said sadly.
"If your talking about Emilia forget about her, don't let her force you around like that," she said encouragingly.
"Yeah I know that but that's not the only reason, there are also reasons with Kai, he seems somewhat...distant..," I said somberly.
"Distant? Well I don't know about that, but you may be right, I never seen him get close to any other students besides his friends, although its possible that he's interested in you."
"Me!?" Oh shoot I said that a little loud I looked in their direction and saw them turned, oh great Kai is looking at me why is my heart beating fast?!
"Hey don't tell me you girls are following us or maybe stalking..," said Joey smilingly.
"Nope in a matter of fact we're heading in your direction as well," replied Camille.
"Hm, I see well why don't we all walk together I need to be entertain this guy here is no fun but you girls may be," he said.
"We're not toys for your entertainment but why not we are heading the same direction, alright with you Elina." "Huh...,oh um..," I didn't know what to say.
"Ah..I see," Joey said looking towards me and then to Kai.
"How about you Kai what do you think can we walk together," Joey asked.
Kai just stared at me for a bit then turns his head,"Whatever," he replied coolly. "Kai doesn't mind come let's walk together the more the better," said Joey. "S-sure...," I replied.
Camille and I then caught up with them Kai and I are far apart to the side while Camille and Joey mostly chat together we stayed silent.
"You don't talk much, are you shy," asked Joey. "Well sort of..," I said.
"Well she's more talkative with me and Tara guess she's more familiar with us rather then others like guys," replied Camille.
"Hm, interesting so your saying she's never dated a guy ever?"
"Don't know, hey your ever dated someone," she asked turning to me.
"Huh...oh..no never..," I replied shyly. "Wow really?!" Joey exclaimed surprisingly.
"Hey, not many girls dated I haven't either and I plan to keep it that way," said Camille.
"Well you I understand, but her she must have dated once, she's pretty cute."
"Hey! What you mean 'you I understand' I'm a girl as well," said Camille.
"I never said you weren't a girl just saying you don't act like one, more like a tomboy," Joey teased.
"I can act like a girl if I want but I don't want to!" "So your a tomboy," he said again smilingly.
"No, not at all I'm just being who I am," she says with an excuse. "Hm, yeah right."
Camille just glared at him annoyed by his teases. There we find our ways going in different directions, and I was nervous about this since Kai and I are walking together in the same direction!
"Wow how unexpected, you guys are going the same direction here well at least try to be familiar with each other you guys walk together like strangers," said Joey. "See you tomorrow Elina," called Camille.
"Yeah, see you," I called back while waving. And then the two of them were off together in the same direction.
