Chapter 9

Taking my seat I quickly glance away quickly getting my things out I put in my desk.
"You look nervous," he said. I then glanced towards him.
"Huh.., oh..really..," I replied shyly.
"Yeah your expression is easy to tell, you sure don't hide your feelings well," he said.
"Oh..yeah.., people always can tell how I feel..., I don't like making them worry but they always know when something's up," I replied a bit sadly.
He looks at me for a while then said,"It's not a bad thing to show your feelings...I say it's nice to let someone know how you feel...you find your problems less upsetting."
I look at him again a little surprise but happy to hear what he has to say, his words warm my heart that I find it soothing, I wonder if I'll ever see different sides of him that I've never seen before, it would make me feel happy to be closer to him.., oh great now I'm thinking these weird things to myself, it's not like I'll ever be with him for the rest of my life...No! Stop thinking these things I hate myself for doing so...!!
"Hey, are you okay," asked Kai.
"Huh..oh yeah I'm fine," I replied.
"You know usually I can tell by your expressions on what your thinking but other times your face have an odd expression, whenever your thinking to yourself."
"Oh..haha..I'm just thinking to myself about...stuff," I quickly replied.
"What sort of stuff," he asked curiously.
"Uh...nothing you need to worry about," I said.
I can't tell him I'm usually thinking about him, that would be embarrassing.
"Anyways..thanks for telling me it's not so bad to show my feelings," I said happily.
He looks at me frowning,"You don't have to thank me for that."
"Well I'm just saying it as appreciating on what you said," I smile as I say.
He averted his gaze a little then said,"Yeah whatever."
For a moment I thought I saw him blushing a little it looked cute but maybe I imagined it, however usually he doesn't show his feelings to anyone it makes me happy to know he's open up a little bit, I really can't tell what he's thinking his expression always looks cold and cool but hopefully I'll get to see and know more about him.
"Hey if I win, you'll reward me...right," he asked suddenly.
"Huh...oh your talking about the game well yeah that was the deal we all agreed to," I replied.
"Right..so you'll do anything I asked for, until I win."
"W-well yeah but if you mean to say anything hopefully it's reasonable."
"Yeah it is only you can do it," he said then stared at , earnestly.
His gaze made my heart skipped a beat, he says only I can do it, what does he mean by that, I feel mixed feelings of happiness and worries.
"W-what do you want if you win..," I find myself asking.
"You'll just have to find out after the game when we win," he said coolly.
My heart skipped a beat again, why do I feel funny all of the sudden, is it because of the way he's staring at me? Or is it the result of finding out what he wants me to do...?

Lunch has arrived and my friends and I are getting ready for the game. Camille was the most excited in our team to play against the guys.
"We're going to win this game and claim our victory!"
"Um, isn't it to soon to tell which team would win I mean I won't be surprised if we lose and do what the guys have to say," said Tara worriedly.
"Don't worry, you guys have me on the team," she said enthusiastically.
"And is that suppose to help us win this game," she asked.
"Well I'm not going to win alone we all are, don't forget if we win we get the end of the bargain," she exclaimed.
"But if we lose they'll get their end of the bargain and you'll have to be Joey's servant for a week or who knows how long," said Tara.
"Guys I think we should worry about the deal later but right now we should focus on the game," I said.
"She's right, there is no backing out now so lets do this," said Camille.
"Alright...then we'll do our best," Tara said finally as we nodded together we left...
We heard loud cheers coming from the court and we soon discover what it was..., many students crowded each other standing behind the court shouting and screaming mostly the girls but there were also guys as well watching.
"W-what is this?" Tara said surprised as we were.
"I guess rumors spread that we are playing against the guys," I said.
"But who could've spread them," asked Tara and by answering that question was him..
"It was me," we turned and saw Joey with Kai and Byron.
"Don't you like that cheering, I thought it would be fun for many to watch," said Joey.
"So you planned to have many watch the game, and secondly have cheerleaders cheer for you," said Camille.
"Yeah the cheering helps to bad you don't have any," he replied.
"Oh we don't need a cheer team, we have supporters are better," she said implying some of her friends.
"Right, anyways lets get this started," he said walking past us.
I glance towards Kai and he stared back our eyes meet for an instant and then averted.
As we walked toward the court we heard more cheers then before for the guy tea,s mostly, the girls wouldn't really care for the game but good thing the guys were, some students were saying who's going to win, mostly agreed the guys would win and I don't deny it, they are better at playing then we are but all I can do was do my best.
"Kai!! Go beat them!" I turned to the voice of Emilia saying those words with Felicity and Marietta shouting towards the guys to win it, but the guys didn't really focus on them more likely focus on the game.
"Well we may not have more cheers then them but we still have supporters shouting and calling our names to win," said Camille.
She was right there were guys and girls supporting our team, some I've seen some I've hadn't calling on us, it was a sight to see.
"Lets do our best for them, we can't let them down," she said as we nodded in reply.
We all got to our positions, the two captains, Camille and Joey were put on center to retrieve the ball while each team member stays behind their teammate. A guy student walks up to the center between the captains and holds out the ball for both to see with one hand he throws the ball up in the air as it falls the game has begun...
