A/N:

*Kicks in door*
SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER.
Enjoy the early update. :)

Camila was in a terrible mood the next morning as she was trying to get through her shift at work. She kept getting orders wrong, and her clumsy hands wouldn't stop dropping or knocking over drinks. Dinah noticed her best friend was a mess more than usual, so she decided to investigate. "Okay Mila, what is going on with you?" The tall woman placed her hands on her hips. "Nothing Dinah." Camila said while taking off her apron. "You know I can tell when you're lying to me, right? Come on, tell me about it. You'll feel much better."

The brunette headed towards the break room and Dinah followed eagerly. Once they were inside, Camila plopped down in a nearby chair and covered her face with her hands. "It's Lauren again." Dinah sat next to her and rubbed the smaller woman's shoulder. "Was it what she said at the restaurant?" Camila looks at the Tongan girl beside her. "Am I overreacting? She wants me to wait for her to be 'ready' for a relationship, but honestly I'm sick of waiting. It's been two years. How much time could she possibly need?"

Dinah stayed quiet in thought for a beat before she finally spoke. "Walz, you have to understand that she's been through traumatic experiences most of her life. You can't expect her to get over it just because you want her to. I know Lauren hasn't made smart choices recently, but I can tell that she cares about you." Camila fiddled with her fingers anxiously. "I just... I hate feeling like I'm not good enough all the time. I was never good enough for my parents, I wasn't good enough to keep Sasha. I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life. Most days, I don't even feel like existing anymore." Tears were threatening to fall from Camila's eyes.

"You have got to stop thinking like that, Walz. You're gorgeous, extremely intelligent, people would be crazy to not want to know you in some sort of way." Camila cracked fake a smile. It had been a while since someone had given her true compliments, even though she didn't agree with a single word. "I think you should stay patient. Who knows, Lauren could be worth it." Camila thought it over for a moment. She was indeed not thinking rationally. Lauren needs a little more time. The brown eyed woman started to feel bad for how she treated Lauren. One day she tells Lauren she'll always be there for her and the next, she's basically about to leave her.

The green eyed beauty had trusted her and Camila was letting her down. "Fuck!" Camila yelled, startling Dinah in the process. "I really need to talk to Lauren and apologize for my psychotic behavior." As if on cue, Camila's phone vibrates in her pocket. Pulling it out, she sees that the message is from the woman who has her heart.

Lauren:

Camila we really need to talk. Are you available tonight?

10:07AM

Camila:

Is that even a real question? I'm always available. 😀

10:07AM

Lauren:

Will you meet me at my place at around 6:30?

10:10AM

Camila:

Okay. I will see you then.

10:10AM

Camila slid her phone back into her pocket. Dinah looked at her with a questioning expression. "That was Lauren. She wants to talk." Dinah raised an eyebrow. "What do you think she'll say?" Camila tapped her fingers on the table. "I'm not really sure, but she wants me to meet her at her apartment later." Something clicked in Camila's head. She had never been to Lauren's place since they started seeing each other. The older Latina had always been super adamant on going to Camila's. She could be reading into it too much, but this could be something serious.
