"What do you want to do today?" Lauren asked while taking a bite of her breakfast sandwich. "Oh my gosh, can we go bowling? I haven't been in so long!" Camila squealed. "Hm. Greasy food, alcohol, and chucking balls down a lane? I'm in!" Lauren smiled widely at Camila. They hadn't been an official couple very long, but she was surprisingly happier than she thought she'd be. Camila seemed to bring out the best in the older girl and it was certainly refreshing.

If you had asked Lauren a month ago if she thought there was a possibility she could fall for the brunette, she would have laughed in your face. But now, it was definitely possible that she was starting to fall. Lauren found herself constantly thinking of her, and wishing she was in bed cuddling Camila instead of at work. "What are you thinking about?" Her girlfriend asked. Lauren smiled a goofy but shy grin. "I'm thinking about you." Camila raised an eyebrow playfully. "What about me?" The green eyed woman winked at the woman she was slowly falling for. "If you must know, I was thinking about you and how happy I am that I gave you a chance!"

Camila just about melted into a puddle right where she stood. Since when is Lauren such a little sweetheart? "I mean it Camz. I've been so stubborn and now I see that it was all for nothing." Lauren walked around to where Camila was sitting, wrapping her slender arms around her girlfriend's waist, and kissing her cheek tenderly. "Let's go cuddle?" Lauren said in a baby voice. "Only if you carry me." Camila giggled. "Camz! I'm not going to carry you! Use your legs!" The younger woman went limp, forcing Lauren to catch her before she hit the floor. "You are such a pain." The green eyed woman whined. "But I'm your favorite pain!"

Lauren carried her woman koala style into the living room, and dropped her on the couch. "Hey! I was enjoying that!" Camila yelled. "Too bad loser! But wait, I have something to give to you." Lauren dug into her pocket and fished out a black box. She tossed it to Camila, who happened to catch it with her face. "Oh my God, are you alright?" The brunette rubbed her head and stuck her thumb up, indicating that she'll live. Camila opened the box, revealing a silver chain with a banana pendant on it. "I know it's kind of cheesy, but I saw this at a store the other day, and it made me laugh. I just had to get it for you." Camila tugged on Lauren's hand, forcing her to come closer to hug Camila. "Thank you, I love it! Will you put it on for me?"

Once the necklace was clasped properly, the two enjoyed cuddles all day. Only getting up from the couch to get snacks, or to use the bathroom. The women enjoyed the simplicity of their day. Most of the time they were stuck at work, stressed out with the amount of tasks they had to complete. It was a nice change of pace to have some time for relaxation. Especially with each other. Lauren watched movies on tv as Camila slept peacefully in her arms. Once it started getting late, Lauren woke her girlfriend so they could prepare for their date night. Camila didn't want to go home to change, so she settled for borrowing some of Lauren's clothes. She felt like such a bad ass in Lauren's ripped jeans and faded band t-shirt, which usually wasn't her style, but she pulled it off seamlessly.

In no time at all, they were both ready to leave for their night of fun. The two women, hand in hand, walked to Lauren's Jeep. The older woman opened the door for Camila, and helped her inside. Lauren got into her respective seat, hooking her phone up to the auxiliary cord before buckling herself in and starting the engine. Lauren hit shuffle and Florida Kilos by Lana Del Rey flowed loudly through the speakers. Camila and Lauren were both getting into the song, singing into fake microphones. Midway through the song, Camila screams, scaring the shit out of Lauren. "This is my favorite part!" The younger woman turns the volume to maximum capacity and belts out the lyrics.

We could get high in Miami,
Ooh, dance the night away.
People never die in Miami,
Ooh, that's what they all say.

The green eyed woman turns the volume all the way down and looks her girlfriend in the eye. "Damn. You sound terrible. You should probably never sing again." The look on Camila's face was priceless. Lauren bursted out with laughter as Camila pouted. "I'm just kidding babe. You sounded amazing." She said, kissing the back of Camila's hand. "I'm never singing again." Camila folded her arms and jutted her lip out. "Come on! Don't be like that! I love you!" Camila's head snapped in Lauren's direction. "What did you just say?" Lauren smirked at the beauty in the passenger seat.
