I went to school and saw Nathan and Suzanne walking together. Suzanne saw me and dragged Nathan with her.
"Violet,dear. You can have Nick. I don't want him anymore." She said as she wrapped herself around Nathan. Nathan just grinned and hugged her back.
"Good to know." I said, sarcastically. That woman is really dramatic. Talking about dramatic, Jade was waiting for me after school.
"Okay so, since we are friends now, I thought.."
"No parties."
"No no no. Just an after school yogurt with Ian and I. Oh Nick too."
She dragged me to Ian's car and pushed me to sit. Beside me was a sleeping Nick and I stared at the window until we arrived.
Since that day, Jade and Ian would take Nick and I for an after school yogurt. They usually talked about parties and begging me to join their little group. I declined and stayed quiet.
After a few week spending time with them, Ian asked about my parents. Three of them looked at me with pleading eyes.
"No."
"Please, Violet, please."
"No."
"Come on V! We're your friends. You can trust us." Jade said as she held my hand.
"Fine." I sighed. I had to tell them eventually, especially to Nick.
