The police finally arrived and did their work. I was with Jade and Ian. Jade was still sobbing while Ian kept trying to comfort her. I kept my head low because I didn't want anyone to see me with my bloodshot eyes."Violet.." Ian said as he held my shoulder. I shrugged his hand off as I turned to him with anger.
"I told you two to keep Nick away from your stupid parties. Why didn't both of you listen?!" I yelled
Both of them seemed to be taken back. Jade's eyes were already teary as she buried herself in Ian's chest like a cat. I sighed. I realized that being mad at them wouldn't change anything but only making it worse.
"Sorry."
"No, we're sorry. Because of us Nick died."
"Please help us. Become better people." Jade said as hope were in her green eyes.
"First, stop partying."
...Months had passed since Nick's death. Ian went to college while Jade was trying to pass her finals and join him. They changed and I was glad. I was happy for them. I was so proud of them too.
After Nick died, Ms Cocina asked me to clean his room. I was packing his stuff in a box and read his so-called diary. His last entry was about me.
Violet finally told us about her parents. It was understandable for her to be cold to everyone. But, luckily she accepted me as a friend. Her heart was ripped apart, so she covered it with ice so no one could rip it again. (God, my poetry sucked)
Anyway, I really hope that someday she would melt her ice and let people in. Violet deserve happiness and love. I don't always see her smile, but when I do, god , it was the most beautiful thing you could ever seen. She should smile more and laugh.
Violet, if you're reading this probably means I'm dead or you just creeped into my room and read it. Please smile more, be happy. You deserve it, princess.
