"C'mon! The party will be fun!"

"Have fun without me." I said as I walked to class. Tonight was the night of the party and Nick was begging me to go. I bumped into someone's shoulder and I immediately apologized. I didn't want to get in trouble.

"Hello??? Don't you recognize me?" She asked and I looked up and met her green eyes.

"Oh. Hey Jade."

She smiled and I walked to class. Nathan was sleeping and I woke him up because I wanted to talk about the  presentation. Nathan was still half asleep and I put my chin on my palm.

I sighed as Nathan's head turned to face me.

"Mars."

He seemed confused so he stood up properly.

"What?"

"I want to make a presentation on Mars. I heard water is up there."

"Sure." He said before falling asleep. The teacher came in and glanced to Nathan. He signaled me to wake him up, as usual.

During lunch, I sat alone. Nick was hanging out with his badminton team and the cheerleaders. I still don't get why we need cheerleaders for badminton. Badminton was about focus and loud cheers won't help. I saw Suzanne linked her arms with Nick's. She seemed to enjoy herself until Nick let her go. He glanced at me with a look that said "sorry". Suzanne noticed and her eyes were filled with rage and jealousy. I ignored them and continued eating. I knew that Nick had a crush on me and he always thought that we were more than friends.

Nathan was suddenly in front of me with a handful of candies.

"Dare me to eat this whole thing in one take."

I ignored his statement and continue eating. Suddenly, students surrounded the table to watch Nathan stuffing his mouth with candies. I hated crowds. But I couldn't get away because of the students that surrounded me.

"Go Nathan!"

"You can do it!"

"A little bit more!"

"27,28,29,30!!"

Everyone cheered as Nathan raised his hands. His mouth was filled with candies. Big peanut candies.

School went by as usual and I finally went home. Nick was waiting for me at my locker with Jade. Jade flashed her smile and snatched my waist.

"Ian and I want to know both of you more."

I raised an eyebrow and looked at Nick, removing Jade's arm.

"Since you're not going to the party, the party will come to you."
