Chapter 7- For you, My love...

We are all in our spots and ready for this trial. Kyojuro wasn't even struggling today, obviously seeing there is no point. Selene was still around my neck and Kueriji was whimpering softly, staring at Komaeda's picture. Karkhov was staring at Angelina, who looked just as concerned as the rest of us. Reokyu was still confused on the matter, but stood firmly, ready for the trial to begin.

"The murders happened fifteen minutes from each other. Whoever did this was either quick on their feet or there was someone else to it." Seh spoke up.

"Who should we begin on?" Teiko exclaimed.

"I'd say we start with Krista, since there were few of us on that island. She definitely bled out; there is no doubt about that. Her arm was completely torn from the socket. Krista had signs of a struggle all over her body, but I think she died before she was cut into two. In her state of sickness, I don't believe she felt too much pain, since her violent urges were blocking her other senses. The real question is who released her from her bed and had the time to bring her to the beach, with her being how she was, before they killed her." Coraline brushed the hair out of her face when she finished.

She's right. Krista barely slept unless she was physically exhausted from thrashing or if Coraline sedated her. Plus, there was an obvious sign of struggle. Whoever did this has to have at least one mark. I spoke up. "Didn't Krista have blood in her mouth?"

Karkhov said, "She did. She must have bit someone. But Shane, neither Coraline nor I was up when you came in to tell us about Krista."

"So really the killer must be amongst Shane, Reokyu, or Milono but honestly Milono would not be strong enough to pull someone's arm out..." Angelina muttered.

"Well, we never know, it could be someone from the other island too. Maybe someone who didn't really know of Krista's state and was caught up in an unexpected fight. But then again, wouldn't it be easier to kill someone in the infirmary or who wouldn't fight back as violently?" Bee stated.

Someone needs to bring up some evidence....

"I did happen to find something during my investigation. I think I know what the murder weapon was, but it will be hard to explain." Milono said.

Bee suddenly remembered something, "Oh, I forgot to mention this. I stayed a little longer to look at Krista's torso to see if I could find any slight detail that could lead to her murder weapon. There was wax on her skin and around the inflicted area."

Wax? "What do you mean there was wax?" asked Teiko.

"There was wax on her wound, the same wax that was found on her surfboard. Krista was a surfer and surfers wax their boards to keep it waterproof and to better grip onto. We found her board soaking wet in the surf shop. It looks like whoever touched it, washed it off and didn't realize the mess they made." Milono explained.

"Wait, are you saying her surfboard was the murder weapon?" I couldn't hold that question any further. How the hell could you dismember a body with a surfboard?

Milono fixed her glasses. "That's exactly what I'm saying. Krista's final blow resulted from the surfboard being forced into her."

Gasps escaped just about everyone. "Wow, we sure have a fun murder this time! Why didn't I think of that?" Monokuma was dancing around in his throne and Kyojuro was struggling again.

Now we know the murder weapon, but who could have possibly done that to her?

Bee spoke up, "I would say it is singled down to the men of the island. None of the girls, not even Kueriji could force the surfboard cleanly and all the way through her body. Nor could we rip her arm out of her socket. Kueriji may by biting down, but there were no bite marks on Krista. So the murderer must be between Shane, Teiko, Karkhov, Reokyu, and Seh."
